I commute to work, use them now that it's cold out, arms stay toasty! Very light, when it warms up they don't seem to make me sweat too bad, and if I do it apparently whicks away very quickly. I'm a large man, with large arms, and the XLs fit me snuggly and nicely, however they run a bit long on me. But I'm 6', 260lbs so take that with a grain of salt. My only request would be more reflective material, for commuting, otherwise perfect.

I generally like Pearl Izumi products, but their arm warmers just don't cut it. I had a discount coupon for a PI outlet last year, so thought I'd give the Thermals a try after having switched to DeFeet armskins years ago. Maybe, I thought, PI has fixed the fit issues with its arm/leg warmers.

No such luck. Like the several other pairs of PI arm warmers I owned in the past, these ones also reliably fail to stay up around my upper arms. That gap between my jersey sleeve and the top of the arm warmer is just maddening.

The material of the Thermals is nice, and they're certainly warm, but I think I'm giving up on PI arm warmers for good. Unlike PI arm warmers, DeFeet armskins are constructed of elastic material throughout, which means that they don't rely completely upon a band of elastic at the top to keep them from slipping down. They pretty much cling to the length of your arm, with zero slipping.

So if you ride a lot and need arm warmers that won't annoy you with poor fit/slippage, don't get the PI's. Sorry, Pearl Izumi, but you need to fix this.

I have used these in a couple of rides. The keep me nice and warm. I am 5'11" 190lbs medium build with not very large arms. My usual tshirt size is large. I ordered mediums and they fit great!

I have always been an avid fan of Pearl Izumi products. But I just can't figure out what they were thinking when they designed the Thermal Arm Warmers. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. I have warn Sugoi arm warmers in size small for some time. So I ordered these Pearls in small also. When they arrived I put them on. The arm diameter was just right, but they were about 8" too long! So who were they designed to fit if not me? I would think I was the perfect candidate for small as I was with Sugoi. I guess they figure that the normal person who would order small is 150 lbs and at least 6' tall. Also, the elastic band at the top which is intended to keep them up is covered with some felt-like material and really does very little to keep them from sliding down. All other arm warmers I have warn or seen have a silicone or rubber band that actually sticks to the skin and does a very good job of securing them. Maybe they thought something like that would cause irritation. If that is the case I suggest someone from their design team buys a pair of Sugoi and wears them. It does not irritate and does a much better job of keeping them up. Come to think of it, my old Pearl leg warmers have he same felt covered elastic at the top and they are always sliding down. I have read reviews on Pearl's Thermal Leg Warmers and seen very similar complaints about poor fit and the elastic band not doing it's job. For their sake I hope they monitor reviews like this to get the idea. These are going back today.

These are great. The only but is that they come a little bigger than other brands so I would recommend purchasing a smaller fit than usual. Other than that they are warm and very comfortable.

I just received my pair, black size X-Small. Glad I looked at the sizing chart and did some measurements. I typically order Small for most clothing. The warmers are snug from wrist to elbow, then a little bunchy around my biceps. The shape allows for nice flexibility around the elbow without pulling on the top. The nature of the item seems like it's very easy for these things to slide down. They don't seem to be doing that too much. There's elastic at the top to help hold them in place. Time will tell how that holds up. I'm 5'3 125lbs plus or minus and really no upper arm muscles (yet). Even with measurements I was like hmm are these going to fit?? I'd suggest trying on a pair in a store or maybe your biking buddy has some you can borrow.

These arm warmers are made of a generous super roubaix thermal material which is not as elastic as some other thermal warmers I have used. The sizing is a little on the generous size and is definitely under-estimated on PI's sizing chart. I am a 180 cm female of medium build and these arm warmers were long enough for me, but looser than I would prefer around my upper arms.

I was very excited when these arm warmers finally arrived 2 days ago. It's getting pretty chilly here in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, they are a bit too big for me. I am 5'2" 108lbs and I purchased it in extra small, black but I still have to keep pulling it up a little bit. It's also a little roomy in a not so flattering way on the upper arm, especially right where the white stitching is. I'm not sure if it's built as such to give more room to those who are more bulky with muscles, but it just didn't look quite right on someone with a more slender arm. The style and design looks really cool and the good part is that the inner lining material is fleece so it will for sure keep you warm. I thought about keeping it even if it was slightly roomy because all I care at this point is to have something to keep my arms warm so I could continue riding my bike and running, but as a I was taking it off when I tried it on for the first time, it ripped on the wrist area just right where the white stitching is on the side. It has to go back now, the cons outweighed the pros.

I'm not a professional runner by any means, so there may be more advanced options. But for the price, I really enjoyed these Pearl Arm Warmers. I'm 5'11, 190 lbs with a modest upper frame (I generally wear XL triathlon race suits and running singlets), and I went with the men's Large in the arm warmers. The fit was borderline perfect. They fit snuggly right up to the top of my biceps/triceps without chaffing against my chest while running, and they only *very* narrowly bunched up at my wrists. It was 30 degrees during my race, and my arms never got cold. Highly recommend these if you don't want to wear a jacket, but need protection for your arms.

They're tight but not constricting; they're still comfy. Inside is fleece and outside is smooth. They logo reflects well. They look good and have a bit extra material for your hand and shoulder. Would totally buy them again if I have to for some reason... maybe to get another color. I got the white ones and they look fly!
