A must-have compendium of classical formulas.,

This review is from: Pearls from the Golden Cabinet: The Practitioner's Guide to the Use of Chinese Herbs and Traditional Formulas (Spiral-bound)
Despite the rough biding and slightly quirky format, this book is beautifully endowed with the most important classical formulae used in clinical practice. A solid discussion of representative formulae from each therapeutic category including very important formula modifications. Also provided with each formula are western disease indications according to what has been supported by modern research. This book excellently illustrates basic introductory information on tongue and pulse diagnosis, the 6 stages and (zang) organ pathologies. In all, it's a scholarly work worthy of "must-have" status.

I read Dharmananda's book on Professional Training Book on Chinese Herbology. He really makes the information easy to follow, so I am sure this book is great. Just do a search on ITM and his name and you will find his website where you can purchase the Pearls from the Golden Cabinet Book for its normal price! [...]
