It Actually Got My Husbands Attention,
By Diana Doucet (Texas, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Pearls of Love and Logic for Parents and Teachers (Paperback)
My husband was catching a plane and I stuck it in his brief case. I had been desperate to just address some parenting issues in our family. I wanted him to be empowered to make some changes!!! The book has broken down the main parenting concepts from Love & Logic into short 2-3 page chapters. After his trip my husband came home to correct certain things I was doing. He changed his approach with our son to focus on his strengths rather than his weakness. It is a very insightful book helping you understand how to raise children.

Great Parenting Resource,
By New mom Ang (MI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Pearls of Love and Logic for Parents and Teachers (Paperback)
I just LOVE this book. I really can't say enough about it. It is very quick reading, and each "lesson/story" is only a page or 2 long - so it's really easy to find the time to read. This is a must have for any parent or teacher who wants effective discipline strategies that really work!

As a parent and a school counselor I highly recommend this book and all the resources from Love and Logic. They are excellent tools for parents and teachers. In case you are turned off by the thought that they might be a Christian organization - They are not, nor do their books promote or discuss anything related to Christianity.
