The adorable heart shaped keys with this lock were a big hit with my 6 year old daughter. She loves writing and drawing in the lines pink pages, and it has a few graphics on the pages to makes them extra appealing to a little girl. The sequins on the outside did catch once, and tear a small bit of the back cover. If I had a complaint, that would be it. Other than that, a really great locking journal!

My Grandaughter Loves this Lockable Diary. She had the "plastic Password diary" and her brother broke it right off the bat. This one he can not get into without her key! And it's a beautiful little diary!

What a perfect gift for a young girl. I purchased for my grandaughter and she loved it! She was especially happy because it had a lock & key and she keeps the key with her at all times! Very pretty! I will be sending her another one as she fills this one up with all her memories. Great value for the money. It is beautifully decorated. The picture doesn't do it justice. If you're in the market for a beautiful journal this is it.

I was looking for a girl's diary for my 10 year old granddaughter. She wanted a lock on it. I finally found this one, not too young, very well made and a good size. Make sure you look at the weight and measurements so you know exactly what you're getting. This Butterfly Diary with lock was a hit!

I loved the diary!It's beautiful and comes with 2 keys! The front cover had many pretty designs a girl my age would love. I didn't exepect the pages to be pink inside,either. It's unique. It's also lined, which helps me keep the lines stright.

I bought this cute diary for an 8 year old girl and she was so excited to start using it. I showed her the keys and I undid the lock for her. After she had written a few pages, she asked for help in placing the lock back on it. I struggled with this for a long time. The lock seems way too small for the parts which it is supposed to join together. It literally took me ten minutes to get it back on! Clearly, this is not a thing which a child can do on their own. We are so disappointed, because what use is a diary with no lock, when there are nosy brothers about? We will have to purchase another diary with a lock that actually fits. Please avoid unless you want a disappointed child.

Very cute diary for my 11 year old, but the lock broke after just a few uses. We've replaced it with another small lock, but of course it's not as pretty as the one that broke.

I Bought this cute diary for my 10 year old daughter. The very 1st time she tride to open it the lock broke off in two pecies we are very disaponted in the quality of the lock.

This diary was a gift to help stimulate the child's writing interest, not really as a toy. The diary is attractive, pretty, and durable.

I bought this for my little sister for her seventh birthday, and while it's extremely cute, it's far from durable, especially the lock. It broke right off the bat. The cover is adorable, making this perfect for young girls! My sister loves writing random thoughts on all sorts of diaries, but this one seems to be her special one! I would recommend this to anyone with a young girl in their family. It makes the perfect gift! Just be careful not to mess with the lock because it easily gets jammed and breaks.
