These insoles provide no extra support or structure, but they are perfect for use in shoes that don't have much room for insoles. For me, this includes dress shoes, cowboy boots and shoes that don't have laces. I have high arches, so I put these insoles on top of my arch supports, also purchased from Pedag, and they smooth out the bottom of the shoe without taking up too much space and making the shoes tight.

I used to purchase these locally but am unable to get them in size 14, so I have started ordering on Amazon. The sizes are mis-marked, but not by Amazon. They just run small. You need to buy the next larger size.

Two more notes:

1. Pedag is the same brand as Meltonian, which can be found in local shoe repair shops. When ordering online, Pedag (a German brand) is commonly available. Meltonian products are marked in US sizes, by the way.

2. Interestingly, the arch supports I get from Pedag/Meltonian run large. I use a size 11 arch support and size 14 insole. There is definitely some trial and error with these products.

I like the insole but the size 13 I bought was much closer to a size 12. I will have to order a size up next time.

I have bought several of the Pedag 102 insoles. They are well made, but not easy to fit. Size 10 from Pedag was too short and far too narrow, even for a D/E width. Size 11 was better but still not wide enough for my my size 10 (US) shoes in EEE width. So, I bought the Pedag size 12 and trimmed it (less than 1/8th inch at the heel). These fit perfectly.

If you're a heavy sweater like me and good socks just aren't doing enough, these insoles are great for keeping your feet feeling relatively dry. The slim profile makes it perfect for an additional layer inside your dress shoes (or even as a replacement insole).

Do order a size larger though as these do run small. (i'm a 44 and I use the 45 size)

These are a relief for dress shoes. There is some real comfort added by the padding and the leather feels very breathable.These will last longer than the usual brands in retail stores, extra cost is very justified. Previous critic is correct - sizing is off - order one size up. I ordered US size 12 for Euro shoe size 46. Insole came that was Euro size 45 which is US size 11. Seems like a mistake with Amazon size conversion chart.
