4.0 out of 5 stars Good product
I purchased these to help with the neuroma in my foot. It really helps ease the symptoms.

The thing is that the adhesive is extremely good. That can be a problem if you stick it in the wrong place. Once it's stuck, it's stuck. That's great once you're walking, but it complicates things if you don't get it into the correct position on the first try. You...

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't help me
I bought these on my podiatrist's recommendation for the bursitis in my left foot, but they felt more like walking on a marble. After about a week, I removed the one I had placed. Luckily, most of the adhesive came off and my socks no longer stick to the insoles in my shoes.

The thing is that the adhesive is extremely good. That can be a problem if you stick it in the wrong place. Once it's stuck, it's stuck. That's great once you're walking, but it complicates things if you don't get it into the correct position on the first try. You might try using double sticky tape on it before exposing its adhesive, to test positioning in your shoe. Once you like its position, mark around it and then expose the adhesive applying it carefully where marked. Once stuck, it is nearly impossible to remove and tears up if you try.

This review is from: Pedag 135 T-Form Self Adhesive Metatarsal Pad for Flat Feet, White Leather, Extra Large (11-13M) (Health and Beauty)
My gripe with most products is that they tend to raise my heel in the shoes which is uncomfortble and loosely fit. Other cause pain after a couple of hours. I tied these pads at several different positions without sticking them. My final solution was to remove the insole and stick them inside my sneakers then insert the insoles over these pads. This seems to work out the best for me.

I bought 5 different metarsal pads, a few gel and a few stick on. The gel moved around too much, and these were the best of the stick on type. Second best was a lift at [...] or available on Amazon too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some getting used to- but work- I think, August 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
the first time I wore them I found them a bit difficult to wear for long periods and my feet did get sore and one fell asleep but I think I needed to reposition them and try different things. Use double sided tape until you know what feels best before you take the backing off- once you do they are stuck and that's it. My dog decided that since they are leather-like material it would be a good idea to eat them before I could try them again. So, I will have to order some more and review then.

I have pain in the ball of my feet and this really help shift the weight resulting to no pain or pressure when walking. A less expensive solution for people with splayed feet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but no instructions, September 30, 2010

This review is from: Pedag 135 T-Form Self Adhesive Metatarsal Pad for Flat Feet, White Leather, Extra Large (11-13M) (Health and Beauty)
These seem to work pretty well once you work out how to put them in. There were no instructions in the packaging explaining where in the shoe these are supposed to go so, thinking these were arch support, I put them in on the arch area. That felt wrong, so I went to the pedag website, but no information there either. What is on the website is a description of the area of the foot these are supposed to be in contact with (just below the ball of your foot, basically). I moved them to that area and have so far had good results. I did experience a little discomfort from time to time, but I suspect that has more to do with the fact that my feet are adjusting to them. I didn't have a problem with stickiness as the other reviewers mentioned, perhaps because the shoes I put them in have a felt-like insole. They do stick and hold in place well though.

I purchased these to help with a self-diagnosed case of forefoot capsulitis caused by running. These pads work wonderfully. I only use use them while running and they are a big help, I'm no longer having any forefoot issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicely made, February 10, 2009

Although these did not solve my foot pain problem I can tell you that they are of good quality and whatever they use for stick works very well even after three or four re-positionings. I self-diagnosed myself with either Morton's Neuroma or metatarsalgia and these Pedag things were listed as being of help for both conditions. But out on a five mile walk with them installed in my shoes I had to stop twice to remove my shoes and massage my feet because they were feeling sort of numb, like there was not enough circulation (I am not diabetic). I ended up sticking them on the insoles I took out of my new NB 844 shoes and putting the insoles with Pedag things in my slippers and they feel pretty nice used that way.
