Didn't feel comfortable wearing in shoes.

The toe loops are too big and you can only pull the strap that tightens to a certain extent.

I definitely recommend and this is the same product as my podiatrist gave me.

My fiancee (who is an average-height female at 5'4") used this when she fractured her fourth toe on her right foot. We wanted a product that would allow her to use the "buddy" method to heal the toe. The "buddy" method is usually accomplished by wrapping the broken toe with a neighboring toe to provide stability and to help the toe heal straight. This product made that process very easy for her for the month and a half that she wore it. During that period, she wore it as often as possible only taking it off to shower.

Six weeks later she took it off for good. The toe healed perfectly straight. The only drawback she had to this whole process was that the product cinched her toe rather tightly while it was first swollen. Given the results, she felt this was an easy 5-star review and recommendation.

I have stiff/crooked toes due to a shattered heel bone a few years ago, so I was excited when stumbling upon this product. What a joke! First of all, its really flimsy. I could have produced something equal TO if not better with household items. Second, it doesn't do anything. Maybe its because I have small feet/toes( I ordered a small) but it does not fit right. The toe loops are too big and you can only pull the strap that tightens to a certain extent. WASTE OF MONEY!

they work as well as they can as manufactured, they don't really straighten as much as I need and the bands are to thin and don't cover enough of the toe.

The product was just ok because as I walked it would eventually slide up and off no matter how tight it was. Also the actual toe that is in need of support does not actually become totally straight. I have to say if I use it while just relaxing it does seem to help with the toes alignment.

I have had 5 foot surgeries. If you understand what these toe straighteners are designed to do, you will be satisfied. It is my impression that some customers expect these to correct toe issues that only surgery can fix. If you can manually move your toes into a comfortable position, these can keep them there. They do wear out within a few weeks of use. So I buy in in bulk.

This is the only type of product that straightens toes (although only temporarily). I have tried to make my own, but I have always failed. I wish it was lower in price. It is easy to clean with a toothbrush.

I am actually scheduled for hammertoe surgery this Friday. Some of the reviews here made it sound like this corrected their hammertoes permanently. Maybe it was ok for those with "flexible" hammertoe, but my doctor said I have "rigid" hammertoe. I showed him this product and he said it won't do anything to permanently correct my toes. They did feel good wearing them, but of course, you can only wear them in shoes with a wide toe box, which is really all I wear. Brands such as Finn Comfort and Birkenstock are good with these. Nevertheless, knowing they wouldn't do anything for me, I stopped wearing them and scheduled surgery. I hope it works better for people who have "flexible" hammertoe, but it won't work for those who have "rigid" hammertoe, unless all you want to do is straighen them a little bit temporarily.

Absolutly a piece of junk and for all intents,..useless. The band that holds the toes down has no way of keeping its tension, so by the time you walk a few feet, the tension is gone, kaput, narda, fartik, nothing, zero. Waste of money..use a hammer !
