We use these whenever my toddler (or us adults) is sick in the bedroom at night. As long as you don't have a huge room and keep the door closed....WOW does it fill the air and help clear stuffy nasal passages. I've found it actually is strong enough to dry up the mucus. If you have a little one who can't have decongestants (or you prefer not to use medications if you don't have to), this will be a lifesaver! Oh and the price here is much better than what I've been able to find in stores; that's always a plus!

The only downside is on the original plug-in unit; the blue nightlight is extremely piercing and we have had to tape over it. I would love to see an option to turn the light off on a newer model.

My 2 yr old son has chronic congestion & this product has been a great help. I use them nearly every night & he's able to sleep much better. I wish there was a larger box available as they get expensive when you need them nightly but they work better than anything else and it's much easier to use. The blue night light is perfect, too!

I bought this when my son was sick to help him breathe at night. I thought it was very strong so we put it in the room outside his room and it help all of us. This is the second time I am ordering them. They work great. Esp. if you don't want to rub vicks on your child.

These are a must have in my nursery. I wish I would have discovered them sooner so I could have used them when "nothing" was an option on my tiny coughing baby. They last about 8 hours (all night), the plug in device has a BRIGHT light, but I covered ours with black tape (problem solved). When my little girl is coughing in her sleep I plug one of these in and she stops almost imediately.

This one is fantastic when my kids show some symptoms for cold or have cold. That makes their respiratory system relieved. Also buying them at Amazon is way cheapper than the store.

I guess we are just accustomed to the Vick's smell. This seems to lack a bit of impact, but actually lasts longer that the competitor.

My 13-month-old son was up for 3 nights in a row with stuffiness and coughing. I dug these out in desperation (I had forgotten about them), plugged one in and hoped for the best. And it worked! He took a 3 hour nap and I never heard him cough. I know he is still sick as during his waking time he is congested and coughing still but the last 3 days with the vapors in his room he has slept soundly. I do wish the vapors lasted more than 8 hours as a baby's night is (hopefully!) longer than that. I could do without the nightlight. My son sleeps best in a dark room and this light is much too bright. I simply covered it with duct tape and problem solved.

As a general rule, I'm a big fan of these vapor plug-ins. But the 'night light' feature on this product is obnoxiously bright!!! If your child is a light sleeper, this is NOT the product for you!

These plug ins really work! I have used these for the babies when they have had colds and trouble breathing. After I plug one in and close the door - a few minutes later I go in and I can smell the Eucalyptus. It really helps you breath better.
