PediaStat - not just for Emergency rooms,
By A Customer
This review is from: PediaStat: Ambulatory, Urgent and Emergency Pediatrics (CD-ROM for Windows & Macintosh, Individual Version) (CD-ROM)
As a general pediatrician, I find PediaStat to be a very succinct, to the point reference that allows quick and easy searches on everyday and rare topics. By keeping this product up on my computer, I am able to fit using the software into my practice work-flow. I find it much quicker to get to the answer I need with this software than with a textbook. Also included is Lexicomp's Pediatric Dosage Handbook, which I use for quick access to medication information. The information is solid, reliable and up to date. I have been consistently pleased with the illustrations, treatment "pearls" and decision support. The list of contributors is long and has good depth. Although it is designed for emergent and urgent care pediatrics, the topics are very applicable to my general pediatrics practice. It is great to have a software product that helps me do my daily job of taking care of pediatric patients!

A Must-Have CD!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Pediastat: Ambulatory, Urgent and Emergency Pediatrics (CD-ROM for Windows & Macintosh, Individual Version) (CD-ROM)
This CD is a true necessity for any fan of Dr. Julian, but honestly, I like his earlier material. Still, some great stuff, and sure to inspire some interesting covers when the inevitable "tribute" CD is released.
