Concise Text for a Busy Clinic,
By A Customer
This review is from: Pediatric Cardiology (Core Handbook Series in Pediatrics) (Paperback)
There are many books written on this subject but I must say that thisbook is a class above the rest. It introduces Paediatric cardiology to a doctor in a systematic way. Pathophysiology is explained in great detail. The text is supported by excellent charts and graphs. The books divides the cardiac diseases into simple yet systematic classifications. Management of common cardiac diseases in children are included. There are even a topic on arrythmias and management of cardiac emergencies.I would recommend this book all Paediatric Cardiology trainees.

Overpriced for what you get.,

This review is from: Pediatric Cardiology: The Essential Pocket Guide (CORE HANDBOOKS IN PEDIATRICS) (Paperback)
This is a decent text, but it is obscenely overpriced for what you get. Should be $20-$30 if you compare this to The Pediatric Cardiology Handbook: Mobile Medicine Series, which is a better book disregarding the price. If you are a future pediatric cardiologist and not just trying to survive an elective month, Pediatric Cardiology for Practitioners is Park's bigger text and is an excellent primer for fellowship.
