A must have for students studying pediatric nursing!, July 10, 1998

This review is from: Pediatric Nursing (Nsna Review) (Paperback)
The NSNA Review Series is a god-send for nursing students. The book weeds out trival aspects of larger texts without loosing the relevance of the topic being covered.
Each chapter begins with a glossary of terms and an overview of the topic. Following each chapter is a set of NCLEX style review questions. The rationale is given for each answer. The book concludes with a comprehensive final exam which also includes rationales for each answer.
There are other wonderful topics in this series as well, including Pharmacology, Fluids and Electrolytes, Maternal-Newborn Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Gerontologic Nursing, Health Assessment/Physical Assessment and Medical-Surgical Nursing. Each one is formatted like Pediatric Nursing.
I would strongly recommend this book, and the others as well !
