Overall great reference,

Overall I think this is a terrific book. For those who treat children with radiation, it is an important update from the 4th edition which, while good at the time, is largely out of date.The one frustrating part of this book is that most references are not listed in the back of the chapters. Rather, one has to go on-line to look up the references on the book's website. It is an extraordinarily annoying aspect of this otherwise wonderful resource.

The definitive book for pediatric radiation oncology. Comprehensive and thorough, Drs. Halperin, Constine and Tarbell provide a great deal of important information without innundating the reader with minutae. Residents and practioners will find this a very readable and useful source of information. Each new edition has been more outstanding than the previous. As you can see, I recommend it highly...
