Pediatric therapy,
By A Customer
This review is from: Pediatric Therapy: A Systems Approach (Pediatric Occupational Therapy Series) (Paperback)
This text provides excellent information on a variety of difficulty to find topics like pediatric cardiac interventions, burn care and oncology. The authors provide excellent information on a variety of pediatric dysfunctions organized into body systems. The chapters provide excellent current information about body system structure and physiology, as well as practical applications for the occupational therapist. The chapter on the cognitive system provides one of the best orientations to mental retardation interventions I have ever seen. The biggest limitation of this book is its structure. It is organized by body systems and has specific cases illustrating disorders in these systems. This makes better as a textbook than as a reference book.
