There are plenty of answers out there. But only PreTest delivers USMLE type questions, in USMLE format.

STUDENT TESTED AND REVIEWED

"There are a number of questions that are nearly exactly like the questions I recall from the exam." "I was very pleased you included references from all three main pediatric textbooks, instead of only one."

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for shelf board exam, July 7, 2004
By A Customer
When I took the shelf board, my jaw dropped - it was as if the board came straight out of this book. Concise, but loaded with information. Lacks only info on immunizations and milestones, but these can be found anywhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars great review!, March 3, 2006
This review is from: Pediatrics: PreTest Self-Assessment and Review (Paperback)
Pre-Test for Pediatrics was a great high-yield source for clinical clerkship or the Boards. It contains 500 questions with complete answers with references to further read up on the topics. It also contains black and white pictures throughout. It was a great review for the shelf exam. I find the Pre-Test series an important adjunct to my studies because it helps pinpoint my weaknesses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exellent review!, July 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Pediatrics: PreTest Self-Assessment and Review (Paperback)
This book is a perfect review for the USMLE-2. It include 5oo clinical-cases question with pictures and X-rays. The questions are shorter than on real exam but they help you to concentrate on high-yeld topics and learn important details which are often missed in other review books.
The book is well-organized. The questions are arranged in chapters. For example, the newborn infant, respiratory system, cardiovascular system... This allows you to learn the topic first and than sharpen your knowlege using this book. Plus, you can practice with questions before you finish reading the whole Pediatrics!
Perfect review!
