I wish I had paid more attention to the product description. I was more focused on price and didn't pick up on the fact that the scale was Celsius instead of Farenheit. Might have chosen a different thermometer had I paid more attention. Outside of my preference for a Farenheit scale, the thermometer was reasonably priced, is accurate and works just fine.

We love the Pedrini Wine Thermometer with Sheath. It's accurate (I know this because my "picky" husband has tested it against two other thermometers ;-)) and it stays safe in the sheath. With kids always rumaging through the drawers, you can never be too careful with a glass "wand" in the drawer. We've had other wine thermometers and they either broke or stopped showing an accurate display. This one has worked great for years.
