The author writes with the purest clarity, panning the culture of a golden period via a detail sketching of Latin America's most beloved actor.

Pedro Infante is portrayed baring his humanity in rawest essence. His presence is a sincere landscape of emotion.

This is a book that I will reread and reread. I recommend it to anyone interested in learning the crux of the Mexican ethos.
