Took me a while, but I figured out how to maximize this bag!,

Good construction, but the large (55 cubic inches, I think) is too small for me. One tube and my portable multi-tool pretty much fill it up. It would be possible to add keys, money, etc., but forget about a portable pump or even something like a powerbar. It's OK for the kids driving around the neighborhood, but no more.
I just ordered the Topeak large bag, which is about twice the size. That should make me happier. I hope the construction is acceptable. The Pedro's bag is virtually indestructible (made from recycled mountain bike tubes) and has a strong zipper. UPDATE: after a few months with the large bag, I'm stripping down what I carry. I haven't fully figured it out yet, but think I can squeeze a tube, mini-pump, tire levers, a few allen wrenches, a few alcohol wipes, and repair gloves into the blowout bag. I definitely had some "luxuries" in the large bag that I don't need to carry. UPDATE 2: I have two bikes, each with the large blowout bag under the saddle. Each bag contains a tube, mini-pump, mini-toolkit, rubber gloves, and a few first aid supplies. On the rear of the bag, there is a place to hang a blinky light, and I do so. I carry powerbars (and other consumables) in my jersey pockets. If I have no problem on my ride, I don't open the bag. Haven't opened it in months; that's the goal :)

The strap that attaches this bag to your seat goes over the zipper track. (Look at the picture.) You can't open the zipper without undoing the strap. So this bag is too inconvenient for carrying car keys, which is why I wanted it.

Good bag, doesn't take heat/age well,

I had one of these bags for six years. This spring when I took the bike out of the shed (had been hanging upside-down all winter and part of the hot spring), the back end of the bag had disintegrated and everything fell out. I'm not sure if it was just old, or it was because I left it in the hot shed for a few summers. It's made out of inner tube rubber, and like inner tubes I guess it didn't take the heat well. That said, it lasted six years, so I certainly got my money's worth.

I fit a 26x1.95 tube, patch kit, Crank Bros. 17-function tool, shoe lugs, 3 tire levers, keys, identification and other cards, a Clif bar, and Purell. I even have space left over. It's great for the necessities, so if you can't fit something in the bag, you probably don't need to bring it with... or you need some panniers. Mine is still in great condition after riding around Chicago since February 2004 (when they used to cost $16.)

Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Fixing could be a bit better but no need to go down to 4 stars. Fits under saddle of road bikes.
