5.0 out of 5 stars A valuable tool...
This book is a valuable tool for any family who has a loved one suffering from depression. I really liked how the publisher added an easy to understand explination of Borderline Personality Disorder and even better, a more realistic way of dealing with it.

I thought this book was disappointing. No real solutions are offered to the problem of Borderline Personality Disorder.

This book is a valuable tool for any family who has a loved one suffering from depression. I really liked how the publisher added an easy to understand explination of Borderline Personality Disorder and even better, a more realistic way of dealing with it.

The author's account of her struggles with depression were insightful. I think the publisher's info on BPD helped tremendously with understanding why the author was saying a lot of the things she was saying. I think without it.. it would have left a lot of questions unanswered.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was good to read about this illness from the patient point of view., February 8, 2006
This review is from: A Peek Inside the Goo: Depression & The Borderline Personality (Paperback)
This was a very insightful book. The point of view from the person who is living day to day with this illness and how they see themselves and everyone around.I wanted to cry at times from how painful this must be.. it really pulls you into her experience and it feels as if you are seeing life through her eyes.
Wonderfully written.

5.0 out of 5 stars As If She Read My Mind, August 31, 2006
This review is from: A Peek Inside the Goo: Depression & The Borderline Personality (Paperback)
This book made me cry. It was so nice to read a book where the author says the things I'm thinking. Her explanations and imagery were so accurate that I even took the book to my therapist and said...this is how I feel. Would highly recommend for any suffering from depression or Borderline Personality Disorder.
