My neighbor just had a Peer 6203 RLYD-SP bearing fail on the drive belt plastic idler pulley of his John Deere LT-180 lawn tractor. The pulley bearing was totally frozen, and the belt was in the process of destroying the plastic pulley. It looks like the inside of the bearing is full of tar, totally locked up. I'm guessing that the heat process of forming the plastic pulley around the bearing was hard on the grease that they use in that bearing. It could have been a very expensive repair if we had not traced it down ourselves. So I cannot say I am a fan of Peer 6203 bearings.
