Peerless 32 - 50 Inches Tilt Wall Mount, Black

I purchased the Peerless ST650 Universal TV Tilt mount to mount my Mitsubishi LT-52246 52" LCD television to the wall. I rate this mount 5-Stars because:

1) The color matches the TV perfectly, which makes the mount almost invisible.
2) It can be adjusted to most any tilt position with a medium amount of effort.
3) Even though it is a Tilt Mount, it still hugs the wall very close making the installation super clean and tight.
4) After attaching the TV (which was extremely easy), I immediately had the feeling the TV was very secure.
5) The Peerless ST650 is priced in the middle of the road when compared to other TV mounts.
6) The kit included every possible combination of fasteners and spacers you could ever require while mounting your LCD TV.
7) Although Peerless states this mount is for LCD television up to 50 inches and my Mitsubishi Diamond Series LT-52246 is a 52" television, Mitsubishi themselves recommended this exact mount in their owners manual I read online prior to purchasing it. It's a perfect fit and very secure.

I have no complaints concerning the Peerless ST650!

The most important thing I can say is it was easy to install. We were able to install it on our brick wall, I had truoble finding a wall mount that could do that so we were happy when we found this one. I have to add that we have a 50" magnavox and there were not instructions on how to install this particular TV size and brand, but it was so easy we were able to improvise and use it on our set anyways. Also another good thing about this is that it installs onto the wall plate in seconds, that was very helpful as the TV weighs 120 lbs and it was just my husband and I lifting it onto the plate that goes on the wall.

After searching for a mount for my LCD TV I came across this mount. Definitely the best mount for the money. Comes with plenty of hardware and good instructions.

First off, Amazon is amazing. Ordered this on a Monday night and had it at my door Thursday afternoon. Great job!

As for the mount, what's not to like? It's solid. It's easy to install. They include instructions in the box but I don't have a clue what they where all about because I didn't read them. If fact, if you need instructions to install this wall mount then you probably shouldn't breed and contaminate the gene pool. Your offspring will just grow up to be equally inept at accomplishing simple tasks as you lack the life skills to pass on to them. There are far too many people in this world who can't change a car tire and we don't need a whole lot more who can't screw a tv mount to a wall.

Another great thing about this wall mount is the price. I was looking at wall mounts in a large chain electronic store and the salesman was trying to sell me a mount that did the exact same thing as this Peerless one, only it cost three times as much. THREE TIMES!!! Same thing; different brand. I calmly explained to the salesman that for that kind of money, I usually would expect some sort of sexual gratification in addition to the wall mount. Unfortunately for him, I don't swing like that and told him that perhaps he would like to find a female employee to handle the "other part" of our business transaction. The next thing I know, some guy calling himself the "store manager" is asking me to leave! Well how do you like that! They want to charge nearly two bills for their tilting wall mount but won't stand behind their high prices. Or let me stand behind their female employees, as it were.

So in conclusion, if you're looking for a reasonably priced universal tilting wall mount for flat screen televisions, this is an excellent choice. And if you can't hang this mount yourself without instructions, please don't have children. And if you already have children, don't let them work in electronic stores unless they believe in what they sell. I mean really believe in it.

There isn't much to say about a wall mount! We needed one for the TV we were buying from Amazon. We checked the prices in town and this one was less expensive. When we received it it not only was less expensive but the quality was better.

Good product when it was finally up...you must loosen the small hex screws (with bolt) in order to use the angle feature. This is not shown in the procedure to install. It took me forever to figure this out and I only did because I read another review on Amazon...

This mount is great, easy to install and very sturdy. Had a problem getting it to tilt. Had to break off 2 bars that were going through the tilt arms. Once those were gone, it worked fine. Good price also for a high quality mount.

This is a good, inexpensive mount. It is wide enough room to move it horizontally to accommodate the stud position. Installation was straight forward. The mount places the TV far enough away from the wall as to not interfere with cords. One should plug in all connections before mounting the TV to the bracket because it is very difficult after it is on the wall. Again, good mount for the money.

This is a great value on a mid-size, heavy duty wall mount. I paid $70 inc. shipping. I mounted a 32" Sharp using this mount...a little overkill but I wanted to be able to go up in tv size in the future. Installation was pretty easy. I did it alone. I rate myself as fairly handy at this type of thing. Still, drill some holes, screw in a few screws and your done. A helper would make it go a little quicker. The mount is very solid and secure when intalled into wall studs. The instructions could have been a little clearer, but what do you expect. I used the pictures as reference. That was a much better approach than the written instructions. TV mounts very close to the wall (about 1.5" clearance). Loosen two set screws and you can adjust tilt or remove TV from the wall.

Unless you have side hookups, make your cable connections before you hang the tv. Adjusting the tilt takes a little doing...there are set screws, so you can't just adjust at will. Make sure you put the super long "security allen" wrench they give you in a safe place and remember where it is because you will need it to make adjustments. It has a hole in the end and a regular allen wrench won't do. It came with a bunch of different size bolts to accomodate various televisions. I would definitely recommend this mount for anyone wanting a flush mounted screen.
