I previously bought the PF640 and it was not big enough to handle my Panasonic 42 inch. I returned it for the PF650 and everything went well. It holds the TV within an inch and a half of the wall and provides a very stable platform for a 60 pound TV.

If you are mounting yourself, just make sure you have a drill with 5/32 inch bit and a very good stud finder that determines stud centers.

The parts and directions are very easy and the product comes with a variety of screws and bolts for all brands of TV. Just check with the Peerless compatibility chart and verify your TV is on it. This mount is very well priced and I hung the TV within an hour of opening the box.

Not necessary, but you may want to plug in the HDMI, COAX, component, and other cables before hanging the TV as there is not too much room between the TV and wall once hung.

I noticed that other peerless products had reviews, but this one did not. Even though this is the product that is currently listed on the manufacturers website.

Peerless mounts really do live up to their name. They are functional and well designed. While the gloss black finish is hidden behind the TV, the equipment looks and feels good while putting it all together.

I had one small issue with this mount though. They come with several individually bundled metric screws that fit a wide range of TVs. I found the ones that fit mine right off the bat. [Sony KDL-46W3000] Which used the M6 screws. However the package came with M6x12 which was too small, and the next step up was M6x20 which fit on one side of the tv, but not on the other. This seems like it was my TV's fault, but I did have to go out and purchase additional M6x16 screws to get it just right.

Peerless is solid equipment and paying double the amount or more for a mount sold in a retail store doesn't make any sense.

Shopping Experience:

I ordered 2 new mounts from Amazon, but when they arrived one was in the retail box, the other was in a makeshift cardboard box. It contained all the pieces, but it was taped up and thrown together as best as possible, but it was definately not the brand new retail box I was expecting. I'm not sure if it was destroyed in shipping or what, but I was dissapointed in the manner it arrived.

The equipment was undamaged and contained all pieces, though there was a bit of moisture on some of the plastic bags inside the box. I can't rate the product poorly due to the shipping experience though. I suppose one order out of over 100 from Amazon is bound to be flawed.

Great product. Reasonably priced and easy to install. Worked great on my40" Samsung LN40C650.

This is an excellent product at about half the price you'll find in a retail store. It performs the designed task perfectly, and comes with detailed installation instructions.

Had no trouble getting this up. Comes with a variety of screws to fit your specific TV. Looks good, feels sturdy. Panny 42 plasma hanging nicely.

The Peerless PF650 Flat Mount is great. I received it in a minimum of time. It was easy to install and fit my Samsung 40" perfect.
