I checked out this item on the MFR's website after looking at another Peerless product (a wall mount). This item was called for on their website for the mount I was interested in purchasing. However, the MFR's own description of the item implied that it wouldn't work for my HDTV (Sharp Aquos 32"). :( -(a confusing situation, indeed)- Hoping that the MFR's wall-mount/tv/adapter matrix was correct and someone screwed up the adapter's tv/adapter matrix, I purchased it.

It worked flawlessly. The mount and adapter plate went together like Legos and then up on the wall; it was very easy. :)

Highly recommended due to the ease of installation and finished look; I have to ding the MFR down to four stars due to the confusion coming from their site.
