Mounted our 32" LCD ILO brand TV on this & it will hold a larger TV with no problem. It is very sturdy & operates smoothly.

During the day, the TV is to the side of our picture window, not blocking the view. We pull it out & over in the evening when we want to watch something. I also love having the TV off the floor!

Flat against the wall, the arm sticks out 7 inches + the depth of the TV (4 inches) for a total of 11 inches from the wall.

If you pull it all the way out, the arm brings the TV out 30 inches from the wall, so the screen of our 4 inch deep TV is 34 inches from the wall.

If you extend it to the right or left, it moves the TV 23 inches to the right or 23 inches to the left.

This Peerless Articulating Wall Mount is a marvel. The Task of mounting the arm to the wall was a breeze for myself. Getting the 40" TV on the mount is best for a two person lift and place, I did manage it myself though. The motion is fluid and easy to position in so many directions. I did a bit of reading before buying the Peerless brand. All other reviews always wrote about how Peerless includes every length and size of bolt or screw and they do. Also I ran across that many Sony TVs need some type of extra mounting bracket and again Peerless has this covered as well. I would add that for my Sony Bravia having all the patch cords you'll need installed first before completing the mounting assembly to the TV. As once the bracket and TV is on the wall you'll not be able to access the panel again.

I had a very specific requirement. I need around 27" extendable from wall and this product is perfect fit for my requirement. I just got this wall mount for my 40" TV. It took me hardly 2 hours to install my TV. If your TV has VESA hole pattern its really easy to install on this mount. I will highly recommend this product to others.

After the supreme challenge of mounting, the product works great. Best advice is to make yourself a stiff drink on an evening with plenty of time and then begin the hardware assembly and tv mounting. The instructions leave something to be desired, so if you're not mechanically inclined, it'll be tough. The other major downside is that the big screws stripped as we were mounting the brackets into the wall, so basically its permanently mounted. However, with the 42" tv on the wall, it does exactly what it's supposed to and I have no complaints.

We purchased this for our new 40" flat screen TV. We love it. It moves the TV with ease and looks great.

It took my husband and brother-in-law approx 2 hours to put it together and mount on the wall.

I would highly recommend this arm mount.

I did some looking into various wall mounts from a source of different manufacturers. In the end, I wanted a mount that can allow me to angle and tilt the TV, as well as make it an easy installation into a single stud. The TV I used with this mount is a 40" Samsung UN40B6000. What I liked about this mount is that it will support a wide range of TVs (including my non-VESA Samsung), and should I ever switch models or manufacturers, I can re-use the mount without issue.

The mount went up much easier than I thought it would, and came with almost all the hardware necessary for the job. I did have to make one quick trip to the hardware store for some washers, but $2 and 10 minutes later, the problem was alleviated. This was due to the screws being just slightly too long and bottoming out on the backside of the TV. Tools I used were: center-finding stud finder, level, pencil, socket wrench, philips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, cordless power drill, snips for cutting zip-ties.

The mount is very heavy and sturdy, plus it looks great. I had my girlfriend (102 lbs) hang on it while it was fully articulated to test that it was sturdy. It comes with great cable management features, as well as zip-ties to make it all neat in the rear. Just be sure to have pretty long cables, as you loose a coupla feet in the arm's cable management. Not a problem though as I got an extension cord for the TV power cord, as well as a 15 foot HDMI cable.

This mount tilts and swivels very easily, and it does stay in position. My TV isn't that heavy, but the mount still feels solid and while it is easy to move and tilt, it does appear to still stick in the position that you leave it in. Just be forwarned that this mount does jut out from the wall slightly, and you are not going to get a flush wall mount. You gotta give some up though to get some, as the articulating action is well worth not having a flat mount.

I installed this 3 days ago and it looks wonderful. It took me about 3.5 hours to install by myself. I re-read each section about 4 times carefully to make sure I was doing it correctly. It was straight forward and simple. It sticks out slightly more than I was expecting but to me its worth the compromise to be able to turn it basically anywhere I want to. Wonderful product and looks fantastic!

This wall mount is great very simple to install. My 42" visio looks like its floting in mid air, and its moves with the touch af a finger. this wall mount is simple all you need to to is find 1 wall stud drill the size hole they tell you 7 put in the boults they give you. the adapter had parts for all most any tv.

LOVE IT

It took my wife and me a while to figure out that we didn't need many of the parts included in the box. There are adapter bars and other pieces that are meant for odd/old TVs that don't have VESA standard mounting plates. Once we understood this, it took less than an hour to get our 42" LCD mounted. Make sure you have a stud-finder and a power drill. These are essential.

This is the 2nd Peerless mount we've purchsed, and can't be more pleased with the quality.

Bought this mount for a new 46" Panasonic plasma HDTV weighing just over 65 lbs. TV was to be mounted on side of fireplace directly on brick. I needed a full motion articulating mount and this one delivers! You can definitely feel the sturdiness and quality of this piece as soon as you unpack it. Took my significant other and I over 2 hrs to mount, but we took our time & that also included drilling 3 - 3" holes for the anchors directly into the brick, so that took awhile. Neither one of us had mounted a flat screen before so this was new for us. The directions were decent, but my SO is handy so that helps! Once mounted the TV is well-supported. The arm extends WAY out from the wall - didn't measure but I believe the description says 29", which seems right. You barely need to touch the TV for it to move into position, quiet & smooth, yet it stays in place whatever position you put it in w/ no problem. The mount swivels a full 180 degrees, which is helpful given our room layout. We need to be able to watch from the living room (where the TV is in), dining room, adjacent to LR, and kitchen, which is adjacent to the dining room, so the angle potential of this mount is very good. Cord managment feature allows you to hide several thick cords along the extension arm with no problem. If you are looking for a flush TV wall mount, this is not the model, as the mount sticks out 7" once fully receded (plus the thickness of your TV). Since we mounted on a recessed wall that was 8" deep, this did not matter for us. Definitely worth every penny & highly recommended!!! PS - Amazon's free delivery for this mount was the icing on the cake! Would have paid a fortune for shipping since this mount weighs a ton!!! KUDOS to Amazon!
