Only mount I could find that accommodated the crazy big vertical spacing my 65" Aquos LCD panel needs. Darned thing also required a Peerless adapter plate with special spacing for another 60 bucks. Sort of nullified the great price I got on the set. Nevertheless, this has no problem holding 100 lbs of HDTV nearly 2 feet away from the wall. One of my installers (you need 2 people) did a chinup on it at full extension. Very wide range of movement to adjust for various seating arrangements.

In the big picture, it is solid and secure and not THAT expensive over 5 years or more of reliable use.

This is holding up a 280+ pound 65" LCD HDTV. Because the wall studs were not where they should be, I had to use a 3/4" plywood plate lag bolted to the studs, then bolted the mount to the plywood. It works as described. Though I do not pivot the TV or move it, I have the option to do so. I keep it pulled as close to the wall as possible for aesthetic reasons, but it can hold the TV fully extended.

This is a heavy duty great mount, we have it mounted in to a brick fireplace currently holding a 42 inch lcd tv, but in the future we are planing on using the mount for a 50 inch.... it is sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble and mount.
