Wonderful book! My 4 year old loves it! It is a wonderful story that will help kids understand that sometimes when they get ouchies, the best thing to do after caring for the ouchie, is to distract yourself as the narrator and Peg Leg Peke cleverly do thru a pirate story.

I have a pekingese and wanted to buy a thank-you gift for my doggie sitter. This story is really sweet and the sitter loved it! Cute illustrations and would make a great gift for a child with a broken limb like the peke in the story

Cute book. Adorable illustrations. Great colors and a sweet, fast story. I read this to my friend's 18 month-old daughter whenever she visits. She loves the illustrations.

I love Pekingese, that smush-faceed egomaniacal, truly unique breed, and I collect all things Peke. I love this book! "Peg Leg" could have been any breed in this story line, but he is absolutely adorable!

Peke the Pekingese has a boo-boo. Despite his injury, Peke has imaginative fun pretending to be a pirate seeking the best treasure of all!

Peg Leg Peke is a fantastically cute book about the joys of imagination. We love reading this story to our little boy, and he enjoys it too. If you're looking for a fun book to read to your child at bedtime (or any other time for that matter), I recommend this one!
