We read reviews about the sunshade not being effective, wrong, it is extremely effective. All-in-all it's perfect!

I have a Bugaboo Frog and I live in NYC. I was looking for a secondary, lightweight stroller that I can use for restaurants, public transportation and for traveling. This stroller definitely fits the bill. It's light enough for me to carry up and down the stairs to the subway with my 7 month old with relative ease. It also has some good features (very large canopy, reclining seat, one-handed fold with carry handle, big basket and tray) that give it the convenience of a full size stroller. It loses points for the cup holder it comes with. (It's too small to hold a store-bought coffee so I had to order a separate Universal Cup Holder from another vendor.) It's definitely a good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect light weight stroller, October 28, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This stroller is great for city living. It's light weight but not at all flimsy and as a decent amount of storage underneath. It glides very well on pavement and does fairly well on gravel or torn up side walks. Easy to get on and off of a subway train or bus and folds up easily. I had the UK version of this stroller before it was destroyed recently by an airline. It was a little better I thought, because it had the bar break in the back instead of one break on each side you apply individually. I liked the bar break better but it's not a deal breaker. Over all this stroller is great. We're expecting another baby in April and we plan to buy the double version of this stroller because we love the single one so much.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with this stroller, March 30, 2010
By
I bought this for my third child about a month ago and I am very happy with it. Here are the pro's and con's:

PRO:
1. VERY lightweight and compact. When folded the handle bar slides in so that it doesn't make the stroller longer and takes up less space.
2. Really does fold easily with one hand
3. Has a snack tray which is very useful and which most umbrella and other lightweight strollers don't have
4. It accepts my Graco car seat. It doesn't click into place but seems to be secure.
5. Very easy to maneuver, even with one hand. it's a city stroller, but even rides pretty smooth on the wood chips at the park.
6. Large accessible storage basket

CONS:
1. The seat does not recline flat. This is a problem with many strollers, even some of the full size ones. I will never understand why they can't just add a couple of inches of fabric to make it recline all the way back. It reclines almost flat, and my 3 month old sleeps comfortably in it, but I would not recommend for that newborn floppy phase.
2. No parent tray. Didn't even realize how much I used it with my old stroller, but now wish this one had a tray to drop my keys and a pacifier in. The water bottle holder is not helpful and falls off every time I fold the stroller, I tossed it.
3. The shoulder straps cannot be completely removed like in the Graco strollers. I never used these and would love to take them out entirely. What you can do is take the seat padding off and slide only the leg straps back through.

Would give it 5 stars if the back rest reclined all the way down. Over all very good stroller.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE this stroller, August 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Peg-Perego 2009 Aria OH Stroller, Papaia (Baby Product)
Before my son was born, we bought a big jogger stroller. I liked the jogger, but a few months back we found ourselves in need of a smaller, lighter stroller for a vacation involving trips on planes, trains and the subway. I selected this one because of the other reviews and because I liked the color. (The orange is really easy to spot in the middle of a bunch of other dark strollers or on a crowded street, and the brown matched my diaper bag.) Well, we LOVE this stroller. Compared to the jogger, which we thought was just fine before, well- there is no comparison. This stroller is much easier to handle, fold, carry, turn, etc. At about 11 pounds, it weighed less than my baby did the first time we used it. It is so easy to fold and unfold one-handed and is a breeze to carry. It is quite well cushioned for being so lightweight. My son seems very comfortable in it. The basket is HUGE- much bigger than the bigger stroller, go figure. The sun canopy is gigantic- again, so much better than our other stroller.
The best feature of the stroller is one which I did not even know that it had when I bought it. The harness actually detaches from the shoulder blade area of the stroller so that your little one can sit up straight and look around while still being safely strapped in. My son loves to sit up, scoot towards the front of the seat, and bounce himself while we stroll. He is so happy riding in this.
My only improvement suggestion would be the way in which the plastic handle is molded. As it is, the seam is right at your fingertips, which is a little bothersome.
Overall, we are very glad we chose this one and I'm sure it doesn't need to be said that the big jogger stroller now spends most of its time folded in the corner of out garage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for travel, February 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Bought this stroller after a good bit of research. Our regular stroller (Stokke) is great for our very walkable neighborhood but is a bit heavy for air travel (plus we had to get it repaired after it got manhandled on our first flight!) We bought this stroller for travel and because it was compatible with our Peg Viaggio yada yada infant car seat. You have to remove the padding to access the hooks for the car seat, but it was easy to do. Folds super easy with one hand. Lightweight and has great maneuverability with one hand. Basket is big enough for trips to Target and the grocery store. Almost forgot to mention that ours came without the cup holder, but when I called Amazon customer service, they sent another stroller and a return label - the whole thing couldn't have been easier. This one stays in the car and is perfect for errands - love it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad stroller, but has safety concerns, March 20, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Peg-Perego 2009 Aria OH Stroller, Titanio

I recently purchased this stroller after reading the detailed and exceptional reviews of this stroller. I have a Chicco Cortina stroller which is great for younger infants, but since my baby is now an early toddler, I felt it was time to purchase something more compact and lightweight. This is a nice looking stroller and has all of the needed features, the snack tray, a nice sized rain cover, large storage basket, etc. However, my biggest concern with this stroller was the "freedom of movement" harness. This is a 5 point harness that DOES NOT attach to the seat back, in order to allow the child to move around freely. There is a small tab on the back of the harness that you insert into a slit in the seat back in order to strap the child into the stroller and once you've adjusted and secured the "5 points" of the harness, you un-insert the tab to allow free movement. I discovered that the harness automatically detaches itself when the child moves slightly. This is where I really became concerned. There is nothing to secure the back of the harness to the seat. The child can lean ALL the way forward. There's nothing to prevent a child whether a supported or unsupported sitter from slamming forward into the snack tray on the front of the stroller. I tested the stroller one time only and was just not comfortable with the fact that my toddler was bouncing around all around. I can't imagine how a small infant would be secure in this stroller, at all. I expected a lot better from Peg Perego. I understand that this is one of the "lesser" expensive models from them, but there is no excuse for lack of safety, in any price range. I'm no expert on stroller making, but it would be so simple and perfect if Peg anchored an adjustable strap to the seat back that snapped onto the back harness, which would allow free movement, without allowing a child to lean all the way forward. I give a big thumbs up to Amazon for understanding this issue, and allowing me to return this stroller. I purchased the Maclaren Triumph, and so far so good. There was a recall for Maclaren umbrella strollers (a self imposed recall by Maclaren) due to the nationwide concerns for fingers getting caught and pinched in folding hinges and possible amputation. Maclaren will send out a hinge cover kit free of charge, but most of the newer models (like the one I just purchased) already have the hinge covers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, May 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Firstly, I bought this as a first stroller, and it has everything that we need. I saw reviews that said things like "works for what we use it for", but what else do you need? For it to sprout wings and fly your baby to your destination? Lol. I can't believe that this is one of their cheap models! I'm curious to know what their expensive models have extra that makes them worth it. I do not drive; I walk to the grocery store, 7-11, doctor's office, friends' homes, park, etc., and my son comes with me in his stroller for all of it. The best part of this stroller - protection from the hot, summer sun! (That's exactly why I bought this one, and yay, I was not disappointed). I read a review saying there was a safety issue. Actually, it was the fact that the baby can lean all the way forward, which they can do in any stroller without shoulder straps, so his old stroller allowed him to do that, and I assure you, there is NO safety problem with this stroller. He will not fall out, yet he can still move around. The only child you would have to worry about is one who can't hold their body up on their own yet, and a baby that young should still be using the carseat in the stroller anyway. The parent cup holder isn't great, but I don't see th

4.0 out of 5 stars good stroller, June 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
we love this stroller. it is bright green so we can always spot it when we look for it after each ride at Disneyland. the bottom storage bin is huge . and the weight of the stroller is what sets this apart from others. we would of like it more if it had a built in sac for baby's leg for those windy or colder weather. but daytime summer months, this is great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good lightweight stroller, February 19, 2011
I would have given this stroller five stars, if it weren't for a few quality issues I have encountered with it. I have the 2008 model and have been using it since my daughter was 6 months old, she is now two and we are still using it.

What I Like:
- The weight. I live on the second floor of a building with no elevator. I have carted this, while carrying my daughter and a baby bag, up and down the stairs many times with no problems.
- Folding mechanism really is one-handed (unless you're my husband, who requires two hands and usually a couple of kicks). Very handy, especially with the aforementioned baby and bag. Folds up to a very convenient size for storage.
- Sunshade is large and covers a sitting baby completely (see also "what I don't like"). Very good for playing peekaboo when pulled up and down. The little window is too dark to see through properly, but my daughter can see me fine.
- Maneuverability. We live in Istanbul, and the sidewalks are generally terrible. This has proven to be a very easy drive, and I really like the bar steering, rather than the two-handed grips featured on many strollers. You can stroll down the street with your coffee or mobile, and not worry about veering off to the side.
- Storage tray a good size. Big enough for the baby bag, or a couple of grocery bags.
- Ours came with the rain cover and foot muff, so didn't have to pay extra.
- Height - I'm 5'10" and can steer this easily with no back problems.

What I Don't Like:
- The harness is strange. Yes, it is a five point system, but it is only attached to the seat back by a small hook and so it becomes unfastened with the slightest wiggle. Also, on mine, the fabric latch that it hooked on to unravelled shortly after we started using it. The store offered to fix it, but it has never really worked since. Since my daughter is now no longer attached to the seat, she can stand up in the cart, and has been jerked forward into the snack tray when we hit a large bump in the sidewalk. A clip or some kind of locking mechanism would be better for this.
- The attachments are useless, as many others have mentioned.
- The sunshade, while large, will not cover a child fully if the seat is reclined. When my daughter is napping, that is when I would most like to keep the sun out of her eyes!
- Plastic screw cover has popped off the side bar. Not an essential bit, but annoying nonetheless.

All in all, a very good stroller. Perhaps they have fixed some of the complaints in the newer version, but I don't know.
