We researched LOTS of strollers, and ended up buying this one. What a great purchase! Yes, it's expensive...but I use it almost every day. It's easy to fold up and un-fold. I love the handle extenders, too. I didn't think I'd need them (I'm 5'8"), but I found myself kicking the wheels on my way out of the grocery store the other day. A quick push of the button, and presto!, the handles were longer. I love the way my daughter (1 year old) sits in it like a regular seat (although you can adjust the incline easily) and how the tray easily snaps in and out of place. The break is easy to apply with 1 foot, and the wheels swivel to turn without effort (unless I lock them) even when I'm only pushing the stroller with one hand (because I'm carrying something in the other hand). The material is really nice, too.

Great stroller, practical and not so heavy - folds perfectly.,

Wow, I loved this stroller. I have searched and looked at every stroller possible. I went to shops to see them personally - Initially I wonted one of those with 3 wheels they are so cool and really delightful to push around, but they are huge - really HUGE! In my small apartment and not so big car, that thing wouldn't fit. So I found the Peg Perego under the advice of a friend who's just had her third baby and is still using the same Peg Perego stroller!!! My daughter now is almost 9 months and the stroller is great, I just had to put some oil in the wheels once, I probably should wash the lining, but I've been getting by with just cleaning it with a damp cloth. It's great, folds great, goes in the trunk easily, and is not so heavy as almost all the others I have seen. I have it in red but it's a different shade from this, it's beautiful!

I bought this stroller after looking at sit and stand strollers for my 2+1/2 year old and 4 year old children. I test drove the sit and stands and did not like how large and heavy they were. Since my children are older I just wanted a light weight stroller that one child could ride and one could stand on. I found this stroller and am very happy with the purchase. It folds a bit thicker than an umbrella stroller but is very light weight. Some people say it feels wobbly and rickety, which it does, however it does have a solid frame , I was able to push my 32lb 2+1/2 year old sitting in the seat and my 36lb 4 year old standing on the back over a gravel parking lot with very little effort. The tray opens easily and the seat is very adjustable. The standing area on the back is really just a tiny ledge but both of my children enjoy standing on it and holding on to the handles for stability. The handle extension is useful for leaving room for a child standing in back. The fabric is removable and washable and the basket is very large for an umbrella type stroller, the canopy is fantastic also. It is not as easy to navigate as my maclaren stroller but I use this instead since it is more useful to have the standing option on the back for a second child.

This is my 3rd child after having a 9 and 7 year old. And even after all these years, I've come back to this stroller. I had a very similar stroller back then (Peg doesn't carry anymore since it's over 9 years ago) but has similar functionality. What I enjoy most is it's ease of use, portability and styling. Although this is slightly bulkier than my old Peg Perego it's light and small enough that I don't foresee buying even an umbrella stroller. I also purchased a matching parasol and it is such an adorable stroller that rivals the more pricier and impractically designed strollers out there.Enjoy it!

From Chicco to Peg-Perego...I stick to Chicco!,

This review is from: Peg-Perego 2010 2009 Pliko P3 Stroller, Blacktie (Baby Product)
This was our second stroller. Our previous one was a Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System. We aimed to replace the Chicco with a stroller a little more sofisticated or stylish. Also, the Cortina was having fabric worn within the interior panels and colour worn. The first impression with the P3 was lightweight. The Cortina was robust, like a tank, easy to handle and manouver. The P3 was difficult to handle with one hand (it have separate handlers, not unique like Cortina) and the wheels looked like unaligned. The rear wheels tend to open becaus ethey are not joint in a common axle. So if I manouver backwards, the left wheels wants to turn left and the right to right. This version, Blacktie is beautiful. Full black with minor details in white are great. I got to say that I like the closed size of P3 instead of Cortina. It's more easier to put in the trunk or it can be left at any corner of the house, upright.

Collapsing is a pain,
This review is from: Peg Perego Pliko P3 Stroller (Baby Product)
We bought this stroller after months of reviewing others. This stroller has some nice features; however, this is our first night with it and we can't fold it! Upon much googling I find folding to be a common problem. We also can not stand the instructions, which are pictures only and hard to tell in some of them what is going on. We feel for the money spent (we also bought the car seat to make a travel system) this stroller does not meet or exceed our expectations.

I was expecting better quality.,
This review is from: Peg-Perego 2009 Pliko P3 Stroller, Titanio (Baby Product)
This stroller is for the most part plastic. I have had it for 2 months now, and no problems so far.... I don't think it will last until my son is out of strollers. I have a Maclaren Triumph, but wanted something that reclined fully. I went with this over a XLR, because I liked the tray, and the parent cup holder (worthless). I wish I would have went with the XLR. This stroller takes up a ton of trunk space, and dosen't push nearly as easy as my Maclaren. I unfortunately can't justify another stroller so soon after buying this one.

Compared to the Graco...,

Well, let me just say first off I do NOT own this stroller and I am glad of it! I am researching strollers like a true crazy person these days. I currently am using a second-hand Graco something or other that someone gave me. It is big, cumbersome and heavy. However, it glides down the sidewalk easily, is easy to push uphill and is extremely sturdy (not wobbly at all). It is probably 7 years old!I recently ran into a friend who has the Pilko 3. What I can say about it is: WOW! That sun visor is incredible! HUGE and luscious blocking out all the sun and some! But I gave it a little walk down the side walk and it creaked and wobbled horribly. I suddenly looked at my ugly Graco with serious appreciation. SOOO glad I didn't buy it - not sure what I will end up buying, but not this over-priced wobbly thing. I am glad other reviewers like it though - it is the worst to spend your good money on something and then regret it later. |
