4.0 out of 5 stars Keeping Busy
I think this was a great accessory to my Prima Papa. A toy my daughter could not throw on the floor for me to pick up, she really enjoyed playing with the phone. Just remember to take it off before feeding your baby or you will have something else to clean.

At first, I wasn't sure if I'd made a mistake in buying this. But, my daughter loves it! She has played with it since she was about six months old. Now, she's nine months old and it still keeps her entertained. It has made mealtime more enjoyable for all of us! Also, it is easy to install and remove from the tray.

When I saw this product from Peg for only $19.99, I thought what a bargain considering the highchair was almost $200.00. Turns out it really is only worth $19.99, if that. I thought the toys were fairly boring, although I forgot that 8 months old find even the most mundane looking things fascinating. So it does provide some entertainment when he is hanging out for a bit in the highchair while I prepare dinner. However, because the Prima Pappa tray is set rather high, this also makes the farthest part of the Activity Tray inaccessible for him (hopefully just until he gets taller). Also the telephone cord doesn't reach very far, so it's all he can do just to hold it--it certainly doesn't reach to his ear or even face. All in all, it's ok---provided it doesn't cost more than $20---because babies and toddlers find fun in almost anything. Peg Perego should come out with something better, and redesign the highchair tray so that it's not so high up.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Bother, June 12, 2002

This review is from: Peg-Perego 2011 Activity Tray for Prima Pappa (Baby Product)
We received this activity tray as a gift and thought it would be great. We have found it to be of little value. The phone receiver is so short that my son can barely pick it off the tray. You can't hold it up to mimic talking on the phone. The four buttons at the top push down but that's it. No squeak, no buzz, nothing to make my son want to play with it. Same goes for some of the other "activities". I called Peg Perego to complain about the design and they told me there was nothing they could do to help me. Save your money.

Okay, so I wanted my daughter to get used to her Peg Perego High chair on a playtime level so that she can be in the kitchen with me while I'm cooking even when I'm not feeding her. I thought this would be great since it's the ONLY accessory for this highchair that you can get. Couple problems with it: (1) it rests vertically on the tray instead of horizontally so my 6 month old can't reach past the first dail and lever. The way it's pictured is not the way it's mounted on your chair. Imagine the pink dial at your baby's hands and the green phone above that, etc. (2) the actual toys are kind of weak. the dial is the only thing that makes sounds and the rest of the buttons can barely be pressed. Maybe when she's older, she can pretend something with it, but if you're purchasing this for an infant, my suggestion is put your baby's toys on the tray and leave this toy alone.

4.0 out of 5 stars It is a good item that really fits our peg-perego high chair and helps us to keep our baby busy for a while., April 2, 2011

This review is from: Peg-Perego 2011 Activity Tray for Prima Pappa (Baby Product)
My son is 15 months now, and we still use this toy. Of course, I don't give it to him every day because he gets bored sometimes. Generally, he still likes to play with the toy waiting for me giving him food; his favorites are the gear, phone, small blue movable arrow and clocks. The key button is a very tough to move, without adult help it is impossible. The other 4 colored buttons practically useless, except, may be, teaching babies the colors. Peg-perego should change the toy to be more entartaining. For example, the buttons could make some sounds while presssing in them.

I was running out of toys that could keep my son busy during feeding so it makes sense to purchase this item. The goal is to makes meal times enjoyable for both of us. As it turns out, I received this item in a worn out box and what comes out of that worn out box is worn out activity tray. I purchased this item directly from Amazon website but no where on its website indicated that I am buying a used Peg Pegego activity tray. This is the first time something like this happened to me. I have not even have this issue buying from ebay.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't get it near food., February 25, 2008
This review is from: Peg-Perego 2011 Activity Tray for Prima Pappa (Baby Product)
So, I've had this thing for a few weeks. My only suggestion - don't get it near baby food.
It's a high-chair tray, but apparently you should use it only when your little one is sitting there watching you eat. Because if he eats, and gets any gunk on it (which every baby will), it will ruin the little paper stickers that are all over the tray. Which kind of ruins the "niceness" of the tray. I would recommend that you just skip it, and put a few plastic toys on a regular tray. Not worth it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor, cheap design, August 4, 2007

This review is from: Peg-Perego 2011 Activity Tray for Prima Pappa (Baby Product)
I agree with the review that mentioned the short cord for the phone and the do-nothing buttons at the top. I would add that the graphics on the tray are simple paper decals, which are a poor choice for something to go on a baby tray. In no time they will be stained and torn and there's nothing you can do about it.

I threw ours away after the bell underneath the phone got wet and then rusted. Really, the only advantage to this tray is that it is sized correctly to clip onto the main tray. I can think of nothing else positive about it.
