This is my sons FAVORITE toy he has. Unfortunately after riding it almost every day for 3 months since his birthday the back wheel is split in half and it won't go in reverse or first gear.

The repairs are under warranty and I have to take it to a city a half hour away for repairs. Not sure how the repairs will turn out, or if there will be hidden costs.

I would like to see this toy made more durable for boys who really love it and love to RIDE. We ride mostly on sidewalks and the grass...nothing extreme.

Even in children's toys John Deere lives up to its reputation in quality and
purpose. I just bought the John Deere Turf tractor for my 3 year old grandson
and he is having the greatest time. It took a bit of time to assemble, but with time and patience on our side we got it done. The trailer on the back is a great added feature. He has quite the collection of sticks and rocks in it. Peg Perego
does the John Deere name justice. After seeing the smile on my grandson's face, I
would highly recommend this tractor....

My grandson has had his for about 2 years or more and it has had a problem with the shifter but it still works tires are still in good shape and he rides it on gravel and cement and asphalt all the time! highly recommend!
