worth every penny
There are so many pluses to this stroller you won't find anywhere else. I've had it for a year and a half and have had nothing break or wear at all. I love that if you simply take off one seat you have a single stroller, which is perfect when you're only taking one child with you or your toddler grows out of it. The ability for both seats to lie flat is fantastic letting...

DON'T BUY THIS STROLLER!
Okay, I know it's a very cool idea. My wife and I have twin girls and bought this stroller for almost $800 a year ago. After about 7 months, one day my wife was pushing the girls in the stroller in the park next to our home and the steering wheel broke leaving her with no way to steer. So, she had to force the girls to walk almost 1/4 mile back home while dragging the...

DON'T BUY THIS STROLLER!, September 7, 2008
This review is from: Peg Perego Duette Twin Stroller - 2009 Moka (Baby Product)
Okay, I know it's a very cool idea. My wife and I have twin girls and bought this stroller for almost $800 a year ago. After about 7 months, one day my wife was pushing the girls in the stroller in the park next to our home and the steering wheel broke leaving her with no way to steer. So, she had to force the girls to walk almost 1/4 mile back home while dragging the stroller because it was impossible to push it.
I then tried to fix it. When I finally opened up the part under the steering wheel where the two cables come together to meet at the steering assembly, I was amazed to find that the cables are held in place with PLASTIC molded guides. Basically, imagine a bicycle cable housing being locked in place with a peice of plastic under the stress that it goes through when you put stress on it. Are you kidding? Who in the world designed this? Had they designed it with metal guides, then this wouldn't have happened. It's a simple thing and it's just amazing this was thought to be a good design. Obviously the designers didn't every USE IT!
So, we are now stuck with a broken stroller unable to fix it.
Take my advice, the last thing you want to be is stranded with no way of moving your stroller. God forbid you have babies that can't walk!

There are so many pluses to this stroller you won't find anywhere else. I've had it for a year and a half and have had nothing break or wear at all. I love that if you simply take off one seat you have a single stroller, which is perfect when you're only taking one child with you or your toddler grows out of it. The ability for both seats to lie flat is fantastic letting both kids sleep at the same time. I loved being able to have my infant facing me and my toddler facing front like she wanted. Now, they like to face each other and play. I can't say enough about the steering wheel. It's amazing. I can easily and comfortably steer with one hand, so with the other I can hold my walking toddlers hand or hold an umbrella or hold open a door. It fits through every door and the cargo room is great. Yes, it's heavy and doesn't fit in most car trunks, but I don't own a car so it fits my lifestyle. I now have a three and a half year old and a one and a half year old and they still love it. It strains under their weight, especially if the bottom is packed with toys, but hasn't failed.

The Worst stroller ever & The worst customer service EVER!!!!!!!, April 13, 2010
This review is from: Peg Perego Duette Twin Stroller - 2009 Moka (Baby Product)
I recieved this stroller as a gift. out of the box there were problems, when the lock was on the steering wheel it would veer to one side so you had to have the lock off if you didn't want to steer your kids into the street. Then the steering completely broke, and it was not misused in any way. this was only the 6th time using it and my kids were only about 25 lbs combined. I had it fixed at a participating dealer and then 2 months later it broke again , then again and again. Peg Perego is the worst company for customer service, do yourself a favor and buy a graco dual stroller, it doesn't have the great tires or big seats on it but it also doesn't break every time you use it. what a total waste of $1000. bucks!!!!!
