We've had this vehicle for 5 years and it still runs great! My kids haul all kinds of stuff for me around the yard. Best money ever spent on any toy, ever! We got ours on sale for around $300. It was for my son's 3rd birthday. Now, my daugher drives it. I do suggest you buy a second battery! We ordered one cause my son would get so upset when the battery was drained down. Now, they never have to wait as we just pop the charged battery in and charge the other. Works out great. Also, Pegg Pergo has the BEST customer service! If your trying to figure out which ride on car to buy, go with this one! My son can still drive it at 8 and he is big for his age! This will provide your kid(s) with years of fun!

We purchased this for our son a year and a half ago. We bought it from one of our local John Deere dealers. My son was in love with it the minute he got into it. He still loves it which is great! My younger son loves to be driven around by his big brother; it's so cute to see them riding in it together!

When first looking to purchase a motorized vehicle for my son I looked at age and weight limitations because I didn't want to buy one and then the next summer him not be able to fit into it (my son is big for his age.) At first I wanted the Cars race car (McQueen) but the weight limit stopped me, then my husband and I were seriously considering the Cadillac Escalade, but after reading many reviews about how people had a problem with it getting stuck in small dips in the grass we ruled that out too.

So, we tried to figure out where to go from there and I found this, and I am so happy that I took the time to read reviews and look at the limitations on other vehicles because this has been money well spent. We have had very few problems with it getting stuck anywhere. My older son has loved it from day one and my younger son has already tried to drive it himself, so we will literally get years out of this Gator!!

Do be careful though....although there is a warning for kids to not climb in the back, they still do. Even after being repeatedly told not to, my younger son climbed in the back and from the time it took me to get around the pool fence to get him out of the back, he had already fallen on his head (thankfully, nothing major, just some scrapes and bruises), but do be adamant about keeping kids out of the back! Another thing.........I really wish this had seatbelts!

Overall, Great buy! I would buy this again and I would recommend it to a friend!
