this item is fun but there is no brake...it does goes 2.5 mph which would be fine for a child 4 or older who would understand how to stop but the age group listed is for 2 or older...this could be very dangerous for a child of 2...there should be a brake and for the age group of 2 the speed should be a lot less...it is a fun product it just needs to be safer or change the age for this product.

Easy assembly, charger stores in the tractor, grandson hasn't broken it in a month and brings him great joy. The slick tires are not a problem on flat mowed grass. On slight incline the tires do lose traction.

Great little tractor toy. Its a pretty durable item. My grandson has a lot of fun with this and it goes pretty good. He had this thing for about a week and then told me that "farming is his life"...so I knew we hit a home run. I would recommend this item to anyone.

I would not recommend this for children under two, speed is too fast for small children. It does not come with a trailer even though one is mentioned in the description. Has no reverse so be prepared to keep adjusting direction. Does go in grass but the wheels spin lot.For the money it is an okay ride on.

My 2 year old has a great time riding this tractor. Hopefully she will soon learn how to steer! I have yet to recharge the battery and she has been riding it for a month. Very light for a battery product.

We are delighted with the price that this supplier offered us as well as the Amazon Prime shipping. We were able to get our grandson a wonderful gift for his birthday and stay within budget. As far as the toy, itself, it's bright and shiney and gorgeous. Has a good amount of power. I consider it too young for a two year old. The child should be able to understand the concepts of applying brakes and steering. We also purchased a helmet to go with this as we do not take head injuries lightly. This particular tractor is appropriately sized for the sized child we purchased it for, it has a good bit of speed, but buyer beware, it picks up speed if the incline is slightly downhill. Good sense must be used with a toy such as this, however I'm delighted with the quality of the toy and the smile that comes to our grandson's face.

This is easy to put together. That being said, the accelerator is a bit too hard to control for my 3 year old. Also, the steering is not that great on this. Since this is the 1st one that I have bought, I'm not sure if this is common with all of these types of toys or not. I would still recommend this, but would advise parents to be aware of this.
