This review is from: Peg Perego 2010 Pliko P3 Travel System in Java with Free Fashionable Diaper Bag (Baby Product)
There is a way to securely snap the car seat on top of the stroller, but I ended up not using that.
When my baby was smaller, I carried the car seat as a basket. When he got bigger, I removed him from the car seat and sat him straight on the stroller. By the way, if you use both together, you can have the baby completely covered by combining the cover of the stroller with the cover from the seat. The car seat seems secure and protected on the sides. The latches have very positive clicks when they close. It is very difficult to install it "halfway" - it is either all or nothing - which is very good to prevent a parent from half-heartedly attaching the seat to the base. The car seat becomes very heavy when you have a baby in it, even if the baby is only 8 pounds (~4kg) or so. My wife can't carry it by herself. She has to resort to the stroller, which is also a bit heavy for her to take in and out of the trunk. The stroller is solidly built and very complete - it has pockets on the cover, a tray that attaches to the front of the stroller and is very convenient for feeding your toddler, a holder for a watter bottle (very important for nursing moms), locks for the front and rear wheels, a basket for putting stuff on the bottom, a zipper on the back of the cover so you can reverse the cover if the sun is coming at the baby's face. Also you can take a peek at the baby using the zipper without stopping the stroller and coming to the front and without moving the cover back. It is very stiff to collapse at first. After a while the stroller loosens up and is easier to collapse for storage. There is a handle on the side for carrying the stroller while folded. I did not find the whole set up very simple to assemble and use. Reading the manual helps. Reading the warning tags is not optional. You can (barely) fit the stroller, the seat and the base in the JL Childress Standard and Dual Stroller Travel Bag ([...]). I would recommend padding the bottom and the corners of the bag with cardboard. Mine arrived from an international flight very scrapped at the bottom, and the cardboard padding saved the day.
