This is an easy model kit. Basically two saucer halves with optional landing gear. I like the deep detail groves on the surface and am using two-tone metallic paints to give the panels some real pop. I have also rigged up the green light ports with some cool LED chaser kits I custom built. I wish the kit had included some scale people or aliens. Other than that, I hope they keep making more space ships like this! Spooky cool!

Model companies occasionally make models which the government denies. The stealth bomber for example. Here we have an alien spacecraft that the government is hiding in area 51....okay...

It is a good kit. Excellent casting and the pieces fit well. Pegasus has set some high standards for the industry and this shows it.

But, there are no Osprey or Squadron Shop books on detailing the craft or alternate paint schemes. You just have to wonder as you put it together.

This is a nice model. Easy to build.has good detail and takes well to painting. the finished ufo turned out quite well. I'm well pleased with it.

Great kit indeed..perfect..simple assemble allowing more time for the fun stuff painting..solid ( holds together well) little disc design..make more like this..

Honestly from the way they explained the model I thought there would be a bay door and it would open up to some kind of interior, but what you see is what you get. the detail of the model leaves something to be desired as the well creasing inside the overall saucer is rough at some points and not as detailed in others. It looks to me as though this particular model is perfect for a second grader looking to do a project for class, but definitely not for any hobbyist looking for a nice Area 51 model to add to his or her collection.

I gave this a 3 out of 5 overall instead of a two because the green under-surface does make for a neat neon illumination, and kids will get a kick out of it....notice I said kids.
