This is an extraordinary model based on the Space Ark from the 1951 Geo. Pal SciFi film "When Worlds Collide". I purchased the Build-Up set, which comes completely assembled and painted (metallisized, actually) in a great box. This is not actually a toy as small kids could no doubt break it without too much effort. As a film model, though, it is excellent. Some people have complained about the silver color of the model. While it is true that the Ark was a gray color during it's construction (in the film); the movie depicts the ship as silvery when in space. If you want a gray ship - order the unbuilt model kit.

Kudos to Pegasus for a job well done.
