The Peggy Karr music 10 by 6-inch tray is beautiful and practical. Perfect for appetizers and snacks, or as a stand-alone art piece. This glass tray is delicate, yet durable and, it will never fade. The design is a part of the tray - it is not painted on, and it is not applied with adhesives - it's actually part of the tray. Powdered colors are placed between two pieces of glass and then the total piece is fired at over 1500-degree fahrenheit, melting the glass together and permanently sealing in the colors and design. Since Peggy Karr products go through this process, this tray can be used every day, and the beautiful colors and design enjoyed for a lifetime. This tray is microwave safe. Tray is also dishwasher safe, but be mindful of harsh detergents and hard water so it doesn't haze. Like all untempered glass, this tray should not be placed in an oven. Also, avoid placing extremely hot food on it. Peggy Karr - functional art at its finest. Handmade in the USA.
