The Peggy Karr 10-inch Scallop Collage Tray is beautiful and practical. Perfect for appetizers and snacks, or as a stand-alone art piece. This glass dish is delicate, yet durable and, it will never fade. The design is a part of the dish – it is not painted on, and it is not applied with adhesives – it's actually part of the dish. Powdered colors are placed between two pieces of glass and then the total piece is fired at over 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, melting the glass together and permanently sealing in the colors and design. Since Peggy Karr products go through this process, this dish can be used every day, and the beautiful colors and design enjoyed for a lifetime. This dish is microwave safe. Dish is also dishwasher safe, but be mindful of harsh detergents and hard water so it doesn't haze. Like all untempered glass, this dish should not be placed in an oven.
