I bought cd after seeing a tv programme on Brazil and its music, this stuff is everything you've imagined about Brazilian music! from the moment I played it I loved it!! I know this sounds a little over the top but I dare anyone to listen to this and sit still!!! even some of my friends who would be big into metal have been blown away...I'm on the next flight to Salvador for the carnival!!
ps. I have bought two more of thier cds since..addicted!!

Olodum is the most well-known of the Samba Reggae bands based in Salvador Bahia Brazil. Their style has an Afro swing combined with elements of reggae. On this cd Olodum combines various styles and various themes. If you liked their earlier cd's than you should like this one. Matter of fact this one will give you a better idea of how they sound in 2002 ...
