5.0 out of 5 stars passed my waterproof test, January 5, 2011
Test:
I put two pieces of lightly scrunched up paper in this case before performing these tests in my kitchen sink.

1. Ran the case under the faucet at all angles. Tried the best I could to get water in through the pressure equalization valve and through the opening latch.

2. Filled my kitchen sink up with water and held the case under at various angles for a couple minutes.

Result:
Before opening the case I wiped the surface off with a towel. After opening the case, both pieces of paper had no signs of any contact with water. The inside of the case also had 0 signs of water penetration.

This was a fun little test to perform and I was impressed seeing the paper remain fully intact while I was shifting the case around in a sink full of water.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great case, December 8, 2011

Not much to say about it. It's a case I wanted for putting a camera in while fishing. Got it a little bigger, so I can throw a phone in at times too. It's Pelican, not much else to say. If you want to protect something, buy Pelican.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits my electronics perfectly, July 29, 2011

I needed a small, strong case to protect a Sound Devices USBPre2 microphone interface during transport to recording locations. I've used the larger (suitcase-sized) Pelican waterproof cases for audio and photographic gear for many years and have always been impressed with their strength and reliability. After carefully measuring the size of the USBPre2 unit, it appeared that the Pelican 1060 would just fit.

It's a perfect fit. The soft, raised rubber ribs keep the interface from moving and there is just enough extra space to also allow a USB cable to be included in the case. (See photo)

The Pelican 1060 is small, strong and water proof for up to 30 minutes of immersion. It's perfect for my application, and the clear cover leaves no doubt about what is stored in the case.

This review is from: #1060 Pelican Micro Case (Electronics)
This is a pricey item, but it works very well. I have had this for 2 years and it is the perfect size for my Garmin, and all its accessories.

Great product from Pelican. The micro case is ideal for a variety of items: i-Pods, small fittings, air compressor parts, anything you want to keep dry and dust free.
