Overall, the 1560 has the normal Pelican quality. I use this case to transport about 25lbs of gear. The rolling function makes this easy. I reduced my rating by one star because of the strength of the non-latch ends. When lifting by the end handle (located on the top) the seem pops open, exposing what's inside to whatever dirt or moisture happens to be around. Side latches would have prevented this. This may seem picky, but lifting the case from the top handle is a natural action, say after rolling the case up to the back of your vehicle. To keep the case sealed I have to use the side handle - which defeats the whole purpose of having a handle on top.

I use this for my handgun storage and its great! I can easily stand 5 or 6 guns vertically within the foam and I still have plenty of room for the extra magazines and even some ammo! The wheels make taking it to the range super easy to manage.
Just make sure you purchase Pelican 1500D Peli Desiccant Silica Gel if you are using it for handguns or anything else that make be sensitive to humidity

I love this case.. It fits 2 camera bodies, all my lens's, + a lot of accessories.. I originally had the 1510 but everything was fitting really snug. This case allows my stuff to have easier access too without having everything to cramped in. I recommend looking at photos of this case and comparing it to the 1510 before purchasing so you have a visual on how much your able to fit.

I bought this to store my DJI phantom quadcopter. This case is very well made, holds my quadcopter very nicely once I cut out the foam core to fit. There's plenty of room for all your batteries, fat shark fpv system and gopro camera.

I've already traveled with this and it went in an overhead no problem however it had to go sideways not wheels in as it just missed having the overhead door close.

I found that the Pelican 1560 case with foam has been a very good case for my camera equipment as it keeps it all went in reach whenever I need it in the field with all lenses and cameras within reach. I do think that the lid is hard to close I am not sure why but will live with it, the next one may not have that problem, Do I recommend it, Yes.

I couldn't be happier. I used Pelican cases throughout my entire military career and now as a photographer. They have never failed, absolutely the best and worth the money.

I highly recommend the pluck n pull foam for perfect customization. I have placed every bit of photography gear i own in one case. After about 4 months of hauling it to every shoot location I have bought another for more my gear. It just works.

Don't let your valuable equipment bounce around and get ruined, invest wisely in your business.

It's hard to go wrong with any Pelican product. They're all made from the same molds. Amazon's stocking job had my case ground shipped to me the NEXT DAY. Always check the inside and outside dimension specs when looking for a case for a specific piece of gear.

Pick and pluck takes some time but I got my DJI Phantom 2 with the H3-2D gimbal and all the batteries and props and FatShark goggles in with a perfect fit. It looks awesome inside and clients and everyone are very impressed when they look inside. It adds a nice professional touch.

Also this is the perfect take off platform for dusty or grassy areas. It provides a nice clean surface.

Last night I had to do a shoot at a festival and walked 6 blocks with it to the concert stage. The wheels are a necessity

Pelican is the best for a reason. Great case, will eventually get about a dozen more for the rest of my gear.

I keep four Paul Buff Einsteins, four cybersync receivers, two vagabond batteries and all the cords in this, and it fits just about perfectly.

Remarkably solid and substantial. I got this to transport a potentially very valuable 300 year old marble bust from west coast to east. It performed flawlessly. It's my first Pelican product but it certainly won't be my last. For the sheer utility it's a bargain and the obvious quality construction is impressive. I can't think of anything I own that I wouldn't feel confident in transporting in this case - high tech devices, optics, crystal, art work - just about anything that can fit, if packed appropriately, would travel well.
