Pelican 1560 Case w/Foam (Black)

I got this case to pack my photography gear in while flying. I fit two full size DSLRs, a 500mm F4L, 580EX flash, 70-200mm F2.8L, batteries, cards, etc. Everything is custom fit via the pick and pluck foam. Although not officially a carry-on size, it does fit in overhead bins and every time I've traveled I've had no issue carrying this on board. The built-in roller wheels added a lot of ease for navigating the airport. Highly recommend.

I was very familiar with Pelican cases before I decide to purchase this model. At aircraft maintenance division we use this cases to transport very expensive aircraft parts. This case did meet my expectations, and I highly recommend for any one that really have a need to carry very sensitive equipment. In my case, I purchase it to protect my telescope ,equatorial mount, and some of the eyes pieces.

These cases are simply the best for heavy duty use. The piece was exactly what I expected, delivered on time and in good shape.

What can I say about Pelican Cases that hasn't already been said? This case will hold two dSLR cameras, three lenses, a flash unit, teleconverter, and filters. All Pelican cases offer good protection for electronic equipment.

The build quality is very good.
The hard plastic shell seems to be very sturdy and solid.
The two layers of foam were easy to configure how I wanted them without using any tools.
It is easy to wheel around using the pull-out handle, though it worries me how much the hard plastic wheels bump around on concrete. I assume that the foam dampens the vibration enough for somewhat vibration-sensitive equipment.
