Product Description

Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. You can tell its a Pelican case by the distinctive "twin-ribbed" top surface. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles. The new Double-Throw latches are much easier to open.

This is a heavey duty case that is water tight and very strong. It comes with a foam on the inside that can be custom fit to hold anything you need to take with you.

My primary use for this large case is for airport check in baggage. With this style of case firearms can be checked in at the baggage check in. It has two spots for pad locks to be installed. By checking in with a firearm and this case, anything else that you can fit in this case must be locked with a key or combination that ONLY you know. The neet part of doing this is that you know that all of your items are secured and that NO ONE can look into the case without you right there. There are many more interesting features about this case, but if you do a search on model 1620 you will have many places online that can give you all the info. Just know that this is one of the better if not the best case for airport travel as checked in baggage.

This case is perfect! Very durable! With minimal research, you'll know that this case comes three ways (either with foam, without foam, or with dividers). This particular listing (as the title CLEARLY STATES) is for the Pelican 1620 WITH FOAM (not dividers). Giving a product a bad review after not reading the description is ridiculous.

Also, this thing is BIG! You can fit a lot of stuff in it. And the pick-and-pluck foam makes it easy to customize it to your needs.

I highly recommend this case... and reading.

Caution: THIS CASE DOES NOT COME WITH DIVIDERS.

This was my 2nd Pelican case that I had ordered through Amazon. I purchased this case so I could fit all my camera gear into one case for when I go out on my wedding gigs. I needed a large enough case to fit 2 camera bodies, 2 SB-900 flashes, 5 lenses, and all the peripherals needed for an all day shoot. This case would have received a 5 star rating, but the product does not match the product image. When it arrived, I was excited to pop it open and start organizing all my gear into the case. Sadly, when I opened it, the case was filled with only slabs of foam. Very very frustrating. I called Amazon customer service to see if they could ship me dividers, but their policy is to send a replacement and send back the product. After further investigation, it appears that this isn't "supposed" to ship with the dividers. Unfortunately, I assumed that the product would ship as displayed like the product image. If you want to purchase this case and get the dividers separately, you'll have to drop another $150.

If you do not need the dividers and prefer to cut the foam to fit your gear, then you can't beat this price. But for me I need the flexibility of having the Velcro dividers to fit the needs of each shoot that I take my gear to.
