this bib is definitely not for a little one. it is very rigid plastic and to big for my 6 month old (who is not small - 21 pounds of long, lean baby) to wear and sit down at the same time. when he sits, the plastic doesnt give at all, so it jams up into his neck. not to mention they are a major pain to store, since, again, they are rigid plastic.
cant decide if they are worth keeping around until he is big enough for them, or if i should just toss them since they are so hard to store. argh.
Also, it is the only bib we can use, as our toddler is able to remove all other brands that we've tried (including the Baby Bjorn).
My son, who's 2(and daughter previous to him) wore these hard plastic type bibs from the time they were eating solids in a highchair. I feel as if I've ordered and tried everything out there. Baby Bjorn bibs aren't long enough to fit under the lip of the highchair tray. Therefore your toddler is having to reach further to get their food between the tray and the scoop. We did use these in the car or restaurants where we wouldn't have that problem. iplay brand was also not long enough and the scoop was too shallow so it wasn't good for catching anything anyway. I've had luck with some off brands but the next time I needed them they were no longer offered on Amazon so I couldn't find them.

I love these bibs. They have a huge lip at the bottom (or whatever it's called) to catch all the food my daughter drops. She can't take them off herself. They are easy to clean. Read morePublished on December 17, 2011 by ladynuca
