-Durable enough to protect my laptop in a combat zone.
-A bit pricey but worth it to protect my laptop.
-Easy to tear the foam to the exact size for my laptop and a cutout on the side for my power cord, ipod, and psp.
-Locks are strong enough to deter theft.

-Overall good product.
-I wish I had purchased a larger case so i could stash my psp and ipod in their own cutout spaces.

I chose a Pelican case over a purpose-built telescope eyepiece case as the price was slightly better and I could safely store eyepieces and other telescope accessories inside.

The case itself is surprisingly light.

The foam is pre-cut making it easy to create perfect cutouts for my eyepieces, collimator, reflex sight and red flashlight.

I had to return the first case I ordered as the plastic that held one end of the handle was broken when it arrived. The US distributor of Pelican cases has been bought out and is apparently doing a terrible job of shipping replacements (July 2010). The original company I ordered from said it could be months before they received a replacement case.

Worth every penny. It fell off the back of a HUM-V in Afghanistan and the computer had no damage. It made it through a dust storm with no dirt or dust on the computer.

Well with this case you'll not worry at all about dust, humidity, or any other things that could damage your Laptop....9.000 km of bad roads, vibration, bouncing, dust, rain...And my Laptop was safe and quite in it's case...

The design could be more useful if the case would be absolutely flat on the outer sides...I guess it is like that because of the resistance....But I would preffer it with totally straight "walls" and in other color...Orange, blue, yellow the typical colors of Pelican cases...Not all the people who uses laptop, is black and gray preferences... Anyway, for the use that I needed it worked very well.

It got here on time and I am impressed. It is generic in looks so most people would not realize I have an expensive laptop in it.

they show you the picture of a case with "insert"....looks great, but when you get it,its nothing but foam. it is so easy to show the proper photo (both exist on the pelican website; the one with the organizer "insert" and the one with just foam "insert") why must this company "leisure pro" engage in cheap visual trickery?...i would have gladly paid for the &#@&*^* inserts had i knew they were not included, now just mad and want money back.what is wrong with amazon? this is my first time buying anything through them and quite possibly...the last.
