Whoever invented the Pellet Pen gets a gold star in my eyes. They are great for break barrel .177 pellet rifles (mine is a Crosman Phantom 1000). They cure the problem of having to keep loose pellets in your pockets and having to fumble doing a reload. I have two of them. One for a longer range pointed (Crossman Plum Point) pellets and one that I use for shorter range pellets (7.8 grain Crossman Destroyer, semi-hollow point). I took one of the pens and painted the end red so I would know what pen has what pellet type in it. In short - they are easy to use. Faster loads and no fumbling and easy to carry. Each pen holds 20 .177 pellets. Great product. Shop arround though. The price varies greatly. The Amazon price is up to 50% lower than I saw in some airgun shops/sites where I bought my first pen. Joe Dz.

Hey, it might not be milled from billet aluminum as some seem to expect, but it does exactly what it is supposed to and will probably last a lot longer than most people think. I just wish it had a clip on it to secure it to a front pocket because if you bend over to pick up something, it will fall out.

Got this as I need reading glasses when loading pellets in order to make sure I don't have them upside-down. Then take the reading glasses off to aim and shoot. Whether the material makeup of the pen is worth the price, I don't know, but the convenience to me not having to fiddle with glasses is worth every penny.

Wish you could get more shots down range in a shorter time? Then this is for you. Worth the money for the extra convenience but it isn't perfect. This thing is made in China where, we all know, the least reliable plastic production happens. Because of this, the part that is supposed to keep the pellets from falling out of the top of the pen fails under any more than about five pellets. As an engineer myself I came up with a simple fix that makes this product preform like it should. I hope this will help other people that have the problem of all their pellets falling out when the pellet pen is upside down. To do the mod simply fold up a small piece of index card so that it is four layers thick. Insert the paper behind the stopper in the top part of the pen. To be clear the pen is composed of a shaft that holds the pellets and a backstop that comes out to load more pellets in. When you take the backstop out the paper goes in directly above where it says china. Once the paper is in the gap slide it down as far as it goes and cut off any extra. That's it works perfect now.

Depending on pellet point type (flat or pointed) may not hold 20 but does hold enough to make loading easier with less fumbling between reloads.
Nice little tool a little pricey though.
All around nice product

I had misgivings about purchasing this after reading the reviews calling it "cheap" etc. As it turns out, this product is perfect for loading multiple pellets and is a great idea. Yes, it is made out of plastic, but that has no bearing on the job it does. Load it up with 20+ pellets and from then on easily load the individual pellets into your rifle, even with gloves on. I thank the designer of this product for coming up with a great solution to loading the tiny pellets. I shot 150 pellets this afternoon and each time I loaded up the Pellet Pen I was thanking the inventor and the price is WELL worth what it accomplishes.

Product works great, makes loading easier and faster. Great tool. The only problem I have with it, it is overpriced. It is built from cheap plastics. Similar to a cheap pen, minus the ink. Bic pens are made from better plastics. Feels like the mechanics will eventually wear out, I don't know how long it will take, but I can tell that it will definately wear out. It is worth having as long as you are expecting it to be made from materials that won't last.
