The DVD shows concerts in 5 major towns of Brazil. All concerts were sold out!!! Banda Calypso is maybe the most successful Brazilian band at that time.

Feel the positive warm hearted energy of the beautiful lead singer, Joelma. She is a very charismatic person and her temperament is reflected in how she sings and dances.

The music, the cloths and the coreography of the dancers is an overall eye-(and ear)catcher. I never saw somthing similar.

If you want to hear hot-blooded, positive and happy music, you can't go wrong buying this DVD. This DVD shows maybe the character of the positive side of the Brazilian way of life...

I fell in love with the music of Banda Calypso when I discovered it by accident on YouTube. Joelma, the singer, is a ball of fire. Her husband Chimbinha, guitar player, is on stage with her. She choreographs and designs costumes for herself and the dancers. She has an amazing, powerful voice. They are a phenomenon in Brazil, where audiences love ths group--up to 100,000 have attended their concerts and you can see them mouthing the words when the camera sweeps over them. This CD is filled with infectious music sung in Portuguese that makes you want to get up and dance!

This album is magnificent -it has an awesome selection of songs that inspire and motivate you. It makes you want to move and dance!! I play it at home and I play it in my car because it makes me feel so good. I can't wait to purchase the DVD when it is in stock again!!
