the product works great, but isn't going to heat up a uninsulated garage. i'd go with a different type of heating unit.

Terrible product. I used it for 3 months last winter, no use over the summer, has worked for one month and now the switch is broken. I called the number on the Polinis box. They will do nothing without a receipt, even thought I gave them the serial number and model number. They said they could mail a new switch for $20.00 and I would have to take it to an appliance repair. Certainly not worth the money. Very cheaply made and worthless product.

Bought two of these a little over a year ago, two weeks apart. This year, two weeks apart, the switches for low/med/high on both stopped working. Total waste of money.

Obviously this is a known issue to Pelonis, but *crickets*

I'll never buy a Pelonis product again.

I bought TWO of these brand new last winter from Walmart. Just like the other customer, both were broken within 3 months. The knob that adjusts the heat level ( it "clicks" into each level) broke and the heat would not come on. The light indicating it was on was off. Sometimes if I messed with it just right and got it in between 'clicks' it would work for a while. BOTH heaters did the exact same thing. I am thankful Walmart took them back.

Other than the function of the switches, when they were on, they worked really, really well and heated our house awesome. We have a 1782 square foot house and only had 2 heaters. They didn't even have to be turned all the way up and we live in areas in Oregon where it gets pretty cold.

I purchased a Pelonis heater last winter to supplement the heat in my office. It worked great the five or six times I used it. Then the last time it worked, I turned the top knob and sparks came out, I could see it sparking INSIDE the heater, smoke puffed out. How lucky I am it didn't catch fire fully!! Now I am afraid to try it again, and it was a waste of money. I contacted Pelonis (Mideau Co) and they will do NOTHING without a receipt, I even offered to mail them back their unit so they can see the problem. Poor customer service, and a very dangerous product. Boo on you, Mideau Co.

I have an 8 apartment complex. I provided Pelonis heaters for these small single rooms. Within a couple months most had failed. I returned a number of them to Walmart for replacement. But eventually it was obvious that this was going to be a constant issue. The knob that controls the temp setting simply gives up in a matter of weeks. Probably could be a fire hazard as well. but with my multiple failures, there never was any hint of spoke or spark. They just stop working. JUNK!

Bought two of these last winter. Both were broken within three months. The rheostats on both of them just stopped working. I looked inside and noticed that they were poorly soldered and the connections failed. I could not recommend this pitiful junk to anybody.

I bought one in November, and it lasted for about three months before the power knob on the front broke, leaving me unable to turn the heater off without unplugging it. When it did work, the heater did not put off enough eat, leaving me feeling cold even when in close proximity to it.

My heater (purchased from Walmart) came with a one year warranty. When I contacted them, they were helpful and friendly, but insisted I pay shipping costs to send it in for being repaired. Considering the weight, it just was not economical, and only costs me a few more dollars to replace it with a new heater instead.
