If you work in an office cube farm environment and need quiet times to work, this in one great solution! The behind-the-neck design really works and you don't have to worry about messing up your hair.

Dosen't gett in the way, you could wear these all day, there are better products, but not for the money. Ears won't ring after shooting 30-06 or twelve guage all afternoon.

I paid about $12 for these and am pleased, except for some minor damage that occurred during shipping. The earmuffs will still work ok, but the included headstrap is not usable. Also, the muffs were shipped in the original manufacture's box, but the item was not wrapped in plastic as I would have expected. It could have been a returned product, I don't really know. The manufacture's box was not sealed or shrink-wrapped. It was too much trouble to return the item and repurchase, plus the item had gone up in price, so i decided to just keep them.

Other than that, I'm pleased with the muffs, and like the behind the head design. They should work well when wearing a wide-brimmed hat. That's the main reason I purchased them.
