5.0 out of 5 stars Innovative Design Beats All Previous Earplugs, October 20, 2010
This review is from: Peltor P1300 Skull Screw Earplugs, Gray, 120-Pair (Tools & Home Improvement)
I always had to buy 2 sets of earplugs because my ear canals aren't the same size by a wide margin. With these twisties, the Skull Screws, you just screw them in until they form a seal and stay. Great solution!

The price here is high and I hope it comes down. You can get the Peltor earmuffs rated for 29 dB for a whole lot less: Peltor 97010 Ultimate-10 Hearing Protector.

The Peltor earmuffs are quite lightweight, and comfortable. However, the convenience of earplugs cannot be overstated and that's why they'll never go out of style. I notice the product description says these earmuffs weight some pounds, but they weigh next to nothing. I keep the skull screws in an earplug holder (a little square plastic container) having a loop that affixes to the button hole of my shirt pocket. Very portable on the job.

Beyond that, these earplugs are metallic grey. They look a little like metal, as intended. They're cool.

These are just the ticket if you are exposed to loud noises. They are easy to insert comfortable to wear. Don't leave home without them!
