I love these towels! They are very heavy and high quality. Just what I was looking for everyday use.

This is a thick enough towel but it does not dry you off very well. I was disappointed in these.

I bought these towels in October 2006 as a Christmas present. The reason they don't get 5 stars is because they didn't ship until after Christmas, notwithstanding original promises on the website and in Amazon e-mails that I would get them in December. The towels are more plush, and visually more attractive, than I expected for the money, and the Ecru is a lovely, neutral color. They do look like spa towels; in fact, my husband is somewhat dismayed that I'm giving them away. These are available in bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths, but each item has to be ordered separately, and because of that, they have shipped each item separately. I got the hand towels in October, the bath towels late December (after Christmas) and I'm still waiting for the wash cloths (estimated for late January), so this is another reason these don't get five stars. Because of the late shipping, I'm not going to be giving these until July, so I cannot speak to how the towels wash. At that time, I will be able to update this review.

April 15, 2008: I ended up not giving these to my brother until last Christmas, and now that he has had a chance to live with them, he likes them very much and says that the quality is first rate. March 7, 2009: Further, now I have had the opportunity to see the towels after several washings (he washes in cold water), and they are still very soft and plush, with the color holding perfectly.

I love these towels and hand towels. The color is more sagey than you see on the computer, which was fine by me, but be careful as you look at the colors. But they are huge, which my 6' 5" husband loves and so do the kids, and very soft and they soak up water like that! If you're looking for towels, you might want to check these out. They are very much like resort towels, special ones you might find at an upscale hotel.

This is a huge, fluffy towel so it is kind of difficult for it to not be able to absorb anything. But overall, it could be a lot more efficient considering it's marketed as ultra absorbent

These towels are thick and heavy but are not at all absorbant. Using them feels like rubbing yourself with a piece of carpeting. The design seems more about appearance than practicality. Not recommended.

For us larger than large types, these are towels that answer the age old question; Why is the bath towel so small? The answer is that it isn't anymore. Now thanks to Pem America even the Hulk can be bone dry after a tough day of tank busting.

these towels are the perfect color for my bathroom- mauve is very difficult to match and to find. The towels are soft and absorb well.

I'm very happy with these bath towels. They are large, much heavier than I expected, and fine quality. The color is closer to grey than light blue. I'd buy them again.

This is a good thick towel that can handle dripping swimsuit and hair. Very absorbent. I got white so that chlorine in pool wouldn't ruin a colored towel.
